With the recent situation regarding Apple managing to get an injunction on Samsung selling the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 in Europe things seemed to have moved on slightly. Vodafone are selling the Tab if you fancy picking one up!
Exactly how and why Vodafone can do this I do not know but it is good news for you Android fans.
Vodafone currently have 34 different contract options with the price of the Galaxy Tab 10.1 ranging from £229 – £499 dependant on the monthly contract costs.

The Samsung GALAXY Tab 10.1 is powered by Android Honeycomb 3.1 – made specially for tablets. That means you can customise it so stuff like emails, image galleries, favourite websites and social network feeds appear right there on your homescreen. It also helps you to multi-task by letting you see useful things like your calendar, world clock, calculator and task manager as pop-ups. And it enables you to view Flash – so you can see websites as they’re meant to be seen.

Orange today officially launched a fresh assault on the home broadband market by introducing the UK’s lowest unlimited broadband price point across its direct retail channels. The move forms part of Orange’s ongoing commitment to offer UK customers the best value home broadband propositions in the market.
- Orange customers can now get home broadband and off peak calls from just £5 per month
- Customers in rural areas also set to benefit as Orange reduces prices nationwide
- Customer loyalty to be rewarded with the new home broadband and off peak calls package available at half-price for life as long as they remain an Orange mobile customer
- Orange pay monthly mobile customers who take out Orange home broadband and calls also receive inclusive Wi-fi Hotspot access at over 200,000 UK locations
Orange customers can now benefit from a 12 month home broadband price plan from just £5 per month, with no connection fee, unlimited broadband usage, inclusive off-peak calls and line rental for just £12.75 – saving up to £170 a year on similar packages from BT (not including the additional savings made on landline calls). And it’s not just customers in Orange’s network areas that stand to benefit, as Orange is also reducing the prices on its price plans for those in rural areas by 15%.
What’s more, as part of the price promise promotion that ran earlier this year, Orange is committed to offering those who are eligible the new low price plan in the coming months.
The HTC EVO 3D is the slightly bigger, slightly uglier and slightly faster brother of the HTC Sensation but as the name would suggest, the EVO 3D has one trick up it’s sleeve: the ability to view and create 3D content. This handset is the second 3D capable phone to arrive in the United Kingdom and the first of the EVO line to come over from America under the same moniker.
It has all of the latest specs: dual-core 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, two 5 MP cameras, 540 x 960 qHD screen and Sense UI 3.0 but does it work like a charm? Should you choose this over the HTC Sensation? Should you delve into the three-dimensions with the EVO 3D or should you go with the Optimus 3D?
Well, you should read on to find out!
