There have been so many rumours of an Android version of the HD2 since the HD” (or Leo’s) inception. Look like those rumours could be ringing true if the HTS Supersonic is anything to go by. HTC have a dynamite product on their hands with the HTC HD2 and sharing the form factor with Android will put smiles on many faces, especially mine. Here is what Unwired had to say:
Sounds farfetched, the stuff of dreams and a good bricking in the post but Tiltmobility is reporting that there is an interesting development in the world of Android and Windows Mobile phones. That’s right, the client has been released and if your Windows Mobile has an Android version then you could theoretically run them both. the Touch Pro2 is a likely candidate. Read on for the article.
It was just hours ago that we mentioned that Yozgatg would be releasing a way to dual boot a device in Android and WM and it’s now live. The download is located here. In order to use this you need to have a device that has Android ported to it (a so called ‘XDAndroid’ port). So while he has released a loader for QVGA, VGA and WVGA you still need a port of Android (which is what we anticipated). As you know, the Touch Pro/Diamond port is pretty far along. The Touch Pro 2 port is moving along at pretty good speed but it isn’t as far as the Touch Pro is.
Matt, from Tracyandmatt.co.uk, has publish a huge and insightful review of the new Google Nexus One. From the sounds of it, he was quite taken by it and so many questions are answered about the device operations. With many illustrations this is one must read for anyone with a fleeting interest with the handset.
Unless you have been living in the Big Brother house or under a rock you surely cannot have failed to notice that Google launched their first own-brand mobile handset the Google Nexus One. There aren’t many mobiles that make the headlines across a range of mainstream media outlets, probably the last one to get the same attention would have been the iPhone!
Quite a few people thought that Google already had their own phone out on the market. There has been confusion over the T-Mobile G1, which did bare the Google name, many thinking that was one of Google’s own products. However, the Nexus One is the first handset that Google have launched, branded and marketing themselves. Google launched the handset a little over two weeks ago at a huge press event and it went on sale, direct from Google, on the same day.
Since the launch the Nexus One, built for Google by our old friends HTC, has got some negative press. Issues the 3G connectivity, especially on the T-Mobile network in the USA have been reported almost everywhere, included here on the blog. We’ll be sure to cover that later on in the review.
So I’ve been using the Nexus One for almost two weeks and have made it my day-to-day device. I’ve been playing with Android software, flashing new ROM builds on it and generally getting my hands dirty with it. So let me tell you what I think of it!

LG are set to lauch their next Android driven handset in the shape of the LG GT540. The GT540 will be a value priced Android handset driven towards social networking with built in features like Bebo, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Google Talk.
LG GT540Specification wise the GT540 will have a 320*480 touch screen, accelerometer, 3 MP camera with autofocus, FM radio, MP3 Player and MicroSD support for up to 32GB’s.
Coming in black, white and pink they are scheduled to arrive in stores in April of this year.
This comes not long after the release of the LG GW620 which we are still trying to get our hands on for review. Any company out there who has one, can we have it for review?

We have all seen leaked photo’s of what is said to be the Nexus One for the UK (HTC Bravo) but to date none of them look as good as the one spotted in someone’s hand in Poland.
The Bravo is rumoured to have the following specifications squeezed into a handset only 11.7mm in thickness:
Originally the RAM was as 256MB then someone mentioned that it was 320MB, but in the end it might turn up to be even more (the Nexus One has 512MB RAM). The other features that differ from what we already know include the trackball being replaced by an optical trackpad and that it will run on Android 2.1.
There are two different rumours floating around for this handset at the moment. The first being that the handset should show up on T-Mobile UK by the end of January on a £35 per month contract (hardly likely since this is the 27th) and the second is that it will be released in Europe sometime in March.
Again as we learn more about this handset we will post it here.

Even if you don’t plan to buy an iPad, the fact that it goes on sale will have positive impact on iPhone users… and will be beneficial for iPhone developers too.
