HTC HD2 with Android almost here?

HTC-Supersonic-Sprint-WiMAX-Android-2There have been so many rumours of an Android version of the HD2 since the HD” (or Leo’s) inception. Look like those rumours could be ringing true if the HTS Supersonic is anything to go by. HTC have a dynamite product on their hands with the HTC HD2 and sharing the form factor with Android will put smiles on many faces, especially mine. Here is what Unwired had to say:

Reportedly, the HTC Supersonic is an Android 2.1 smartphone that has features similar to the ones of the Windows Mobile-based HTC HD2: 4.3 inch WVGA touchscreen display, 1GHz Snapdragon processor, 1GB of internal memory (like T-Mobile’s HD2), and a 5MP autofocus camera.

A notable difference (besides the different OS) is that the Supersonic has an OLED display, instead of a TFT one.
