Our brand new BlackBerry Curve 9320 didn’t come with a box so we will have to do an unboxing video another time. In the meantime you can see this great new ‘low cost’ Smartphone put through its paces where we give a tour of both the hardware and software.
Running BlackBerry 7.1 the Curve 9320 is a superb successor to the 8520/9300 that have sold so well here in the UK. Along with the new OS the device gets some other hardware upgrades from its predecessors including a bigger battery which will please many BlackBerry users.
The BlackBerry Curve 9320 is the perfect excuse for the UK youth to stay with Team BlackBerry. From only £129.95 sim free and as low as £10.50 per month on contract with Orange the 9320 could well be bargain of the year!

The following text is serious but not nearly as serious as the high (I mean low) speed pursuit that took place at BlackBerry World 2012 between the QNX Porsche 911 and the Dodge Charger Police Enforcer. You must watch this video. It’s a classic!
In anticipation of the the unveiling of RIM’s new QNX-based BlackBerry 10 Operating System, there was a high intensity buzz at this year’s ‘Everything BlackBerry’ show in Orlando, where 5,000 developers, software and hardware vendors, and wireless carrier reps came together to see what the host company had to offer.
Speaking for the first time as CEO at the show, was Thorsten Heins, who told the audience at a packed news conference, that “We’re here to win. We’re not here to just be in the game.” Heins and many other BlackBerry keynote speakers focused attention on BlackBerry 10 – a QNX based operating system that is so much more than just a smartphone OS. BlackBerry 10 is a whole new mobile computing platform that not only drives the BlackBerry PlayBook 2.0 tablet, but is also the OS for everything from medical devices to nuclear reactors; from commercial airliners to most of the cars found on North America’s roads.
I get kind of excited when it comes to reviewing new Bluetooth headsets. I spend a lot of time in my car and having a device which provides near perfect quality and is comfortable to use is paramount. Unfortunately I have not found too many on the market that match my criteria.
From my recent experience the Jabra SUPREME may just be that perfect device I was looking for.

The QNX powered Porsche was first seen at CES in January (I think) and we clearly weren’t there so I was pretty pleased to see it at BlackBerry World this week. If you saw the keynote you would have seen it made a brief appearance on stage but the car then spent the next three days in the showcase hall where I managed to get the grand tour.
QNX is in so many cars these days but as RIM purchased the company It makes sense to show of the power of the OS at BlackBerry events.

We posted the other day about the BlackBerry 10 Alpha device but I have now had a chance to spend some time with it and shoot a quick video.
As you will see in the following video the OS on board is essentially the PlayBook OS although the features are very limited. The handset is not a fully functional phone and its purpose is only to allow developers to create apps /games for the forthcoming BlackBerry 10 devices later in the year.
Please don’t take any notice of the hardware as this will not be a BlackBerry 10 handset. This one is purely a shell for dev usage.
