BlackBerry Curve 9380 review

BlackBerry Curve 9380 reviewThe Curve brand has been hugely successful for RIM, especially the 8520 mega-hit; these were the first BlackBerries that appealed to the masses on a budget, allowing the everyman a taste of BBM and the famed BlackBerry keyboard. Alongside the Curve 9360, this is RIM’s take on a modern budget smartphone. As you’ve probably noticed, the 9380 doesn’t have a keyboard, perhaps the biggest BlackBerry selling point. That doesn’t spell doom for RIM though, as full touch phones are obviously the way the market is heading. RIM are no strangers to full touch phones, and the ones preceding, such as the Storm, haven’t been popular to say the least.

But now with the arrival of BlackBerry OS 7 and its user friendly tweaks on this budget touchscreen phone with the Curve branding behind it, could the Curve 9380 be the first touchscreen-only hit for RIM? Check out the full review for the verdict!

ZTE Tania Windows 7.5 Phone–Coming Soon

Screen Shot 2012-01-05 at 14.44.45

The chaps at Clove say they have had news that ZTE’s first Windows Phone will be hitting the UK next month. Priced at £208 ex VAT (£249.99 including) this looks to be a keen price for a pretty well specced and large phone. Pre orders are not quite available yet but Clove say it won’t be long.

This one looks a bargain if you ask me.

The Wonder appears to be for those who can’t quite afford an S2 or the Note, but still want a powerful smartphone that can easily handle any day-to-day tasks.

The question is: after reading this review will you be able to find a place in your pocket for the not-quite-a-hyper-phone but also not-quite-a-mid-range-phone phone, huh? Try saying that all three times, quick!

HTC Titan Review

HTC Titan ReviewThe Titan is one half of the newest phones released by HTC with the latest version of Windows Phone 7 but this is the most interesting device. Mainly because of the gargantuan 4.7 inch screen, a fast 1.5 GHz processor and Windows Phone 7.5. There is no doubt that it certainly impressive on paper but how does it perform in real life? Has HTC been too ambitious with the screen size? Should you choose the Titan over anything else? Read on to find out!

Killer Lenovo tablet

lenovo-kal-el-gal-2011-11-01It appears that the Transformer Prime from Asus, will not be the only Tegra 3 Quad-Core powered device to come along. Engadget report Lenovo is working on a high-end Android tablet of their own, and this baby features some very impressive specs:

  • NVIDIA Tegra 3 1.6GHz Quad-Core Processor
  • 2GB of 1,600MHz DDR3 Ram
  • Ice Cream Sandwich
  • Full-size USB port
  • Fingerprint scanner & Optical joystick (On back)
  • Special Fusion-Skin Body

It seems like the tablet wars are heating up all over again for a brutal beginning of 2012, both in the low-end consumer friendly market and the high-end hardcore market. There are a few more pics of the tablet over at the source link, but they didn’t have any front facing shots.
