How to make a successful mobile phone insurance claim

mobile phone insurance This week the Financial Ombudsman has suggested that there has been a record number of complaints being processed about mobile phone insurance based on failed claims, so with this in mind we did some digging and have managed to find a quote from the Director of www.mobileinsurance.co.uk Jason Brockman about why he thinks there have been so many complaints and how he and his company believe to be the right way to make a mobile phone insurance claim.

We hope that the following statement and follow up information on the website at the bottom help you guys to gain more knowledge about mobile phone insurance so that it gives you peace of mind as much as anything.

UK Mobile Network Price Increases

EEThe year 2013 has started off a little rocky for customers of O2 as ‘due to inflation’ they had to increase their price plans by 3.2% which meant that as an example, my contract that i took out was £21.50 but i now have to pay £22.19 which isn’t too bad at all considering but when you think of those people who opted for the £30+ tariffs, they will be hit quite hard by these increases.

The reason i am bringing this up now is due to the fact that in the last couple of days Orange and T-Mobile customers will have to suffer the same fate as those of us on O2 but their increases are 3.3% so slightly more annoying! The price increases will begin from April 10th for Orange customers and the 9th of may for T-Mobile customers, and I’m sorry to say that this could mean around £20 extra per year for those people on the higher tariffs.

So i ask you guys do you think it is right that mobile networks are ‘allowed’ in some cases to increase your tariffs if they feel it necessary? Here’s what a spokesperson for EE has to say on the increases:

Motorola RAZRi updated review on Jelly Bean

Motorola RAZRi First released in 2012, the Motorola RAZR i is an Android smartphone that represents an excellent deal for the mid range mobile market – powered by a 2 GHz Intel processor, the RAZR i has recently been updated to include Android’s Jelly Bean OS, with the effect of boosting its speed and tweaking its interface. With an edge to edge screen, and that Intel processor in place, why does the RAZR i come recommended?

In terms of size, the RAZR i measures 4.8 x 2.4 x 0.3 inches, and is roughly of the same weight as the current iPhone. However, the RAZR i is distinguished by its edge to edge Super AMOLED screen, which is secured by Kevlar and Gorilla Glass; the phone also comes with an 8 MP rear camera. The 4.3 inch screen has a decent 540 x 960 pixel display, and 256 ppi density, putting it in the mid range of current smartphone resolutions.

One of the key features of the RAZR is its 2 GHz Intel processor; a single core processor, the Intel Atom Medfield chip rivals dual and quad core technology through hyper threading. The RAZR i also comes with a 2000 maH battery, as well as connectivity for WiFi, GPS, HSDPA, NFC, and Bluetooth. GPS is similarly enabled for rapid synchronisation, meaning that the RAZR i is able to be set up for automatic detection of networks.

Google Nexus 4 review

Google Nexus 4 reviewThe Nexus range was one of the first instances where software heavyweights enter the market to produce their own hardware to complement that of the traditional manufacturers which has proven to be a popular move ever since the Nexus One. With the Google Nexus 4, Google have collaborated with LG to bring a successor to last year’s popular Galaxy Nexus from Samsung. While that was certainly a great phone it was not without its flaws, and the fourth iteration of the Nexus phone has received some well deserved hype and praise from the media and passionate users.

In fact the combination of a stock Android device with top-notch specs and a heavily publicised launch meant the number of launch customers was grossly underestimated, as Google only had the (modest) numbers of previous Nexus devices to go on. This lead to a huge supply issue; it was almost four months after the first launch before it readily available from the Play Store. It may not sound like too long, but in a market where new devices supersede older ones each year, that’s a good third of the Nexus 4’s lifespan.

So is the Nexus 4 actually worth the wait? Read on to find out.

HTC One summary

HTC One_3V_White By now you have probably see the news and press releases about the new HTC One but here’s my summary ‘review’ of the HTC One that I had chance to play with last week. Obviously this isn’t a full review of the HTC One but rather my initial take on the device as well as some coverage of the features and summary of the information we were given at the briefing last week.

I have to open by saying that the HTC One is probably the most interesting Android phone I have seen in some time and there’s a raft of new and cool things in there plus the design is stunning!

We’ve known about a new flagship device coming from HTC for a while and there has been plenty of rumours about the device codenamed HTC M7. There were some leaks a few weeks ago and claims that the M7 would launch as the HTC One and they have proven to be quite correct.

Sony Xperia T review

Sony Xperia T review Sony, formerly known as Sony Ericsson, were already the parent company to Ericsson anyway so last year they decided to buy that company out and simply call the company Sony, but with this change also came a shift in the company’s priorities when it came to smartphones.

The company decided to go full on with smartphone development to catch up with its vast competition and to also ensure that its customers who buy their products were more than happy to use them every day.

So with that strategy they built the latest in a line of ‘Bond’ phones named the Sony Xperia T, it made a very brief appearance in the latest Bond film Skyfall but can still be named the bond phone.

So can the New Bond phone live up to the hype and expectation of smartphone fans around the world?

Read on to find out the answer…But first you must watch Matt’s Xperia T unboxing and demo video to know exactly what you will be reading about.

HTC One SV review

HTC One SV review HTC are continuing the use of their ‘One’ brand with the HTC One SV, following in the footsteps of the older One X, S, and V.

This latest model brings with it 4G connectivity and NFC but in every other respect seems to be pretty much a middle-of-the-road handset with specs that hardly wow it goes up against cheaper 4G capable rivals from Huawei that are otherwise similar in spec but significantly cheaper in price. Can the One SV compete?

It has been quite a while since I have been in the review seat and HTC have made some changes with HTC Sense 4.1 and several other tweaks to their long standing lineup of bundles apps.

I’ve had the HTC One SV with me for a few weeks now and have been using it as a backup phone. So, read one to find out more about it and what I think of it as a daily phone.
