We recently reviewed the HTC 7510 Advantage and gave it a very big thumbs up, you can see the review here. Well T-Mobile now have it available to buy and they are calling it the T-Mobile Ameo. I know this is the name of the original version but this one is definitely the updated version with a 16 Gig hard drive, GPS and Windows Mobile 6.1 and haptic keyboard etc we enjoyed using so much.

I have read quite a few articles over the last few weeks about the amazing new product Golden Shellback. I just don’t understand how this can work, sure we have seen the videos of them immersing various phones in water but what about the headset ports, USB Ports and all the other openings, surely it is impossible to prevent these from taking in water as they are open ports, am I missing something here. Tracy and Matt have managed to get the Orange upgrade working for the Tytn II. This taking the phone up to Windows Mobile 6.1 brings a host of updates to the flaky and buggy 6.0 variant. The update is very much worth it and I am very interested to see what Orange have packaged with it.
Update: Just to update you on this, I have been using it for the last 24 hours and I have to say it is a big improvement.
Continuing their unparalleled coverage of the HTC Touch Pro, The Unwired has posted a video demonstrating the working phone. It seems rather snappy and even takes a quick look at the Touchflo 3D interface in landscape mode. It all looks rather swish and will hopefully not suffer from any of the Diamond’s initial problems.
Here is a useful resource over at Gizmodo. A load of standard cables explained in a small and un-confusing amount of depth. Mini and Micro USB always get me and to be honest, I don’t think I have seen a micro USB in use before.
There is an interesting article over at Pocket PC Thoughts regarding the rumoured Zune Phone. Whilst I am far from opposing the idea I think it is something that Mircosoft feel they have to have a stab at given Apple’s success. It would be clever to wait until the folks who have signed up for the iPhone are coming to the ends of their contracts and try to sway them away. Also this would give them a good 12 to 18 months to get it right.
