Over at Engadget Mobile is a story about how the iPhone is developing hairline cracks. They are showing up on the white iPhones probably due to easy visibility. Guess questions must be asked as to what materials were used in making the phones exterior.

Sidekicks have always felt like they were playing catch up with the more popular phones. They have a very attractive form factor and are easily more fun than business. Engadget Mobile have the specs of T-Mobile’s incarnation which seems to be just the normal incarnation. One paper the specs don’t dazzle but they are very much a standard you would at least expect.
Update: Gizmodo have posted a review of the device.
Boy Genius Report has the skinny on a new application called Magicpad. Seems its is currently under review for release in the App Store and contains the following features:
MagicPad is a note-taking app that includes a handful of basic ‘word processor’ functionality such as the ability to change font size / color and yes, copy / paste functionality. Of course copying and pasting text is limited in this application as you can only copy text within MagicPad and paste it within MagicPad.
Still a step in the right direction.
Phone Arena have posted a video review of the Samsung Omnia. Between this review and the Mobility Today video review I think almost everything has been covered. The flaw really are a shame as this could have been a major player in today’s market.
Mobility Today have posted a video review of the Omnia. Its feature packed but have a few problems in and around the hardware, especially for those Stateside. Worth checking out, video is after the break.
Mobility Today have published a review of the video streaming software Qik. Its nice to see a piece of software that manages to do a good job when the task is quite a daunting one especially when it comes to sending larger file from your phone, on the move.
So carrying on from Part 1 having now arrived in France with thanks to TomTom and the iPhone I really wanted to be able to carry on posting the latest news while I was away. Now for those who have been regular readers of Mobile Tech Addicts you will know that it is a very new blog and keeping it fresh and interesting to build up our audience figures has been a lot of hard work but proving very successful so the timing of this family holiday could not have been worse.
Over at The Unwired there is a nice video of the the hardware functions of the HTC Touch Pro. All angles of the phone are covered and its nice to see the LED for the photos and the pinhole backlight sensor.

Gizmodo have a sneaky picture of the iPhone factory line. So I guess these phone aren’t forged in the lava’s of Mordor. In fact, quite the opposite, looks a little like Tesco’s packaged donuts.
Orange (again) have announced they will be providing a new deal for those looking for a mobile internet solution outside of their phone. This will directly compete with 3’s slashing of mobile broadband package deals. Mobile New International reports:
