Sony Ericsson seem to be churning out Android phones with impressive frequency and this week we have another, the Xperia ray.
Upon first inspection the ‘ray’ looks a bit like a smaller Arc with similar design elements. The thing that really stands about about the ray, though, is the display. Despite it being only a 3.3 inch screen SE have managed to cram 480×854 pixels in to that small space and the result is an extremely sharp screen with high pixel-density and it looks great.
Other specs are impressive with 1Ghz CPU and 1GB ROM to name just a few. Check out the benchmark score in the unboxing and demo video below!
We posted a teaser video earlier in the week of a new TV advert T-Mobile have made. The full version is now online with a shorter version being used on UK TV.
Once again T-Mobile have proved they do a sterling job when it comes to adverts.
You can see below what happened when thousands of motorists across Britain, got a surprise they didn’t expect.
Zombie Highway is another one of those games that you stumble upon and become hooked. Unlike any other game I have played on the iPhone the idea of the game if to drive as far as you can without being destroyed by the Zombies that will jump onto your truck.
You can shoot them off with a selection of weapons or just crush them by slamming into parked vehicles. Fun!
The game is free at the moment so go get it.

I’m a sucker for racing games on my iPhone. I recently downloaded Drawrace 2 without reading what it was about and when I played it for the first time I was initially disappointed. I felt this way as it wasn’t what i expected. I love to be behind the wheel of the car and Drawrace 2 is certainly not that.
However, once I actually stared playing I realised that the game is absolutely excellent. The idea is to draw the line you wish the car to take around the track. Yes, i know the title kind of says that but I get a bit over excited.
Anyway, the best way to show you is on video so below you will find a short demo of the game.
If you like it why not head over to iTunes where you can pick up Drawrace 2 for sixty nine pence.
Nearly every manufacturer with Android smartphones in their stable have their own cultivated application store, or at least their own section of the official App Market. While Samsung’s application store isn’t new (Samsung Apps comes preinstalled on many Galaxy and Wave devices) it now offers paid apps as well as the free ones it used to offer. The UK is one of the first countries to gain access to this new store, with the main attractions being that there’s no pesky sign up process and, in the future, the ability to pay with credit cards or through your phone bill.
So, with Google’s own App Market already dominant offering thousands of apps, is there any reason to use Samsung Apps? Read on for an overview and some first impressions.

I’m not sure what this new video from T-Mobile is all about that I found on YouTube today. It is clearly a teaser and tells people to visit YouTube.com/lifesforsharing this Friday, 9.15pm on Channel 5 or , for the premiere of their new video.
By now we know that T-Mobile do some great TV adverts. I can only guess that the parking ticket being given out are some kind of winning voucher or similar and the people who receive them will have their expressions filmed, first upset with getting a ticket and then joy at maybe winning something.
I could be totally wrong though.

Various sites have posted pictures over the last week of a BlackBerry that is unknown it is real or a knock off. Rumors have been going around that it is a specially designed device by Porsche but it could well just be a home made shell.
The handset has now been caught on video and as you will see it is clearly based on the Bold 9900 but with a very different keyboard and back cover.
To be honest i think it looks disgusting. It doesn’t even have an optical track pad. Clearly running BlackBerry 7 I don’t think we will see this one in the shops. Thank god!

The ZTE Skate was announced way back in February and has been on sale for a short time as the Monte Carlo on Orange here in the UK and it’s proven to be really popular.
The ZTE Skate is the SIM-free version of the same handset and goes on sale shortly. Our review model is pre-retails and unboxed but we think we have the final hardware and final ROM, albeit that ours seems to be Portuguese.
There has been some confusion over the CPU speed of the Skate though. At ZTE’s press event at the Ice Bar in London some weeks ago a ZTE representative stated that the SIM-free version would have a 1GHz CPU where the Orange Monte Carlo has 800MHz. However upon closer inspection of our review model reveals the same 800MHz CPU. Not sure if this is going to be updated of if that was just duff information!
