Remember recently when we mentioned the weird looking BlackBerry that had hit the interwebs? Well we told you last week that the device was in fact a Porsche designed special addition which is essentially a Bold 9900.
The device has officially been launched in Dubai and TBreak Technology have had some hands on time.
If you can afford to drive a Porsche you can probably afford the BlackBerry P9981 as it will set you back in the region of 2000 dollars!
I think it still looks blooming ugly!

Is it a phone or is it a tablet? That’s not just what I say but even Samsung themselves.
In the below TV advert for the new device Samsung show off some of the cool features that are available on the Note. With its 5.3" HD Super AMOLED screen the Note is monster of a device but I’m wondering if it is too big to actually use as a daily phone and therefore will sales be limited?
I wont have long to find out though. Samsung are holding an event here in London on Thursday evening so I should have the chance to go hands on with the device.
You can see the video below and please let us know your thoughts on device.
Pocketnow has posted some shots of the much touted Nokia Windows Phone 7 phone. With Nokia World approaching, pics of the Nokia 800 have leaked to the internet. Rumoured to be available in three different colours (black, pink, and blue). The pics also reveal a slightly different font, Nokia Music, and Nokia Navigation apps. We should have all the details later in the week. James will be making an appearance at Nokia World. The history books will be written, the Nokia Windows Phone 7 phone, who’d have thought?!?! (Well, me. And gets lambasted for suggesting such a thing 6 months before it’s announced!)

An open beta for the service is launching today in over 30 countries.
“BlackBerry Business Cloud Services is an easy and cost-effective way for businesses and government agencies to extend Microsoft Office 365 to BlackBerry smartphones and manage the deployment in the cloud,” said Alan Panezic, Vice President at Research In Motion. “We have been working together with Microsoft and select customers through an early access program and we are pleased to now launch an open beta for the service.”
“BlackBerry Business Cloud Services will help accelerate how BlackBerry customers can realise the full benefits of the best productivity experience across the PC, browser and phone with Microsoft Office 365,” said Julia White, Senior Director of Microsoft’s Exchange Product Management Group. “This new service delivers valuable enhancements to Office 365 while preserving the cost and business agility benefits the cloud offers to organisations of all sizes.”
Last year Sony Ericsson embarked on their biggest year in the smartphone industry (in my opinion) as they released their next generation of XPERIA smartphones, there was the Arc, Neo, X10 Mini and finally the most important one regarding this review…the X10 Mini Pro.
Now does anyone really properly remember that handset? I mean let’s face it-it wasn’t brilliant, it was too small and had many software bugs and to be quite honest for a long time also it was way overpriced. Would many people over the age of 15-16 have bought this phone? I’m not so sure.
The reason I’ve mentioned the above is because Sony Ericsson are at it again releasing their 3rd generation of Xperia smartphones, and I have one of them the Xperia Mini Pro. Which is the successor to the X10 Mini Pro of last year.
So is the ‘Upgrade’ worth taking a look at? Or is it just another one of those smartphones that will disappear from the radar?
Well if you want to find out more about this intriguing handset please do read on.
