Just discovered the little advertised feature of downloadable message alerts and design your own vibrate patterns on iOS5.
Everyone having the same text alert was always a pet peeve of iPhone users, so I’m surprised they didn’t make a bigger deal of it on the feature list.

One of the guys in work is looking to buy his 14 year old son a tablet for Christmas. He obviously wanted to go for the ipad, but is put off by the price. He is currently looking at a blackberry curve plus playbook combo contract for £21 a month.
Personally I think the ipad is spot on for younger users as it is simple to use and pretty bullet proof in terms of working reliably and glitch free. Although I can understand the reluctance to spend that much money when the same kids kindle got stood on and broke after 2 days!!
