One of the more mysterious and ambitious Android Tablets is previewed here in this youtube video. The Notion Ink Adam really looks the biz and there is a huge overlay deposited onto Android. A lot of this seems like it will be alien to an adopter but once mastered it should prove to be productive environment, if all goes to plan. Check out the video after the break:

Vodafone UK is giving Twitter users the chance to win a host of fantastic devices in the countdown to Christmas. Vodafone will be putting one of the latest smartphones or tablets up for grabs every day between the 10th and 22nd December, to put an extra big smile on the lucky winners’ faces this Christmas.

The Defy is another Blurred Android phone from Motorola, but this one is different. Designed to be tough as nails, the Defy conforms to IP67 standards – in other words, it’s waterproof (submersion up to one metre) and dustproof (no dust-under-the-screen issues here).
The tough phone market is perhaps one that hasn’t been addressed when it comes to cutting edge smartphones – after all, we all know someone (if not yourself) that has accidentally broken a phone, so maybe the route Motorola is taking here with the Defy is one worth exploiting.
This is one of the few heavy-duty phones out there that is aimed at the general consumer, and that robustness is also the feature that really sets it apart from an already crowded market of Android phones. But is it enough to make it a worthwhile purchase? Read the full review to find out.
With the BlackBerry Curve 8520 being such a massive hit here in the UK I am rather pleased to see on the BlackBerry UK website a range of PAYG Christmas deals from our networks and retailers. I have here the most exciting review device I’ve done to date for tracyandmatt.co.uk; the Huawei IDEOS. This isn’t just any old ordinary release by the company that provided MiFi and pretty much every half decent mobile broadband dongle to date, it is the very first of very many mobile phones to ship with Android 2.2 Froyo! So as you can probably gather already I was ridiculously excited to have been given this review so I hope that I don’t disappoint.

Available in both black and white the BlackBerry Bold 9780 is the follow on from the popular 9700 although if you saw my unboxing video you will know that there is not too many things that have changed regarding hardware. A better camera and more memory always help but it is the operating system that excites me most. The BlackBerry Bold 9780 is the first non touch BlackBerry to launch here in the UK with BlackBerry 6.
Sure, I have used it on the Torch but the Bold 9780 will outsell the Torch (so I think) and as far as I am concerned this will be RIMs number one business device for the near future.
Is it worth upgrading or going an buying now? You will have to read on for my opinions.
John Caudwell, Former Phones 4U boss, was left injured after masked robbers broke into his home and stole cash and jewellery. Caudwell received head injuries after Staffordshire home raided by masked robbers. On Monday (Nov 1) evening Caudwell, his partner Claire Johnson and a female member of staff were inside his Broughton Hall home when a number of men burst into the property, stealing cash and jewellery before escaping across neighbouring fields.
Caudwell was hit on the forehead with an iron bar during the robbery, according to Staffordshire Police, and sustained a one-inch gash. He also sustained some bruising to his arm.
If caught the police may sentence the men to a sentence to a contact of between 24 – 36 months on 3.
