Earlier today we brought you the BlackBerry 9800 video and now we have the 9670 courtesy of salomondrin.net
Not sure how this guy has his hands on the new devices but I want to go round his house to play!
As you will see, this version of the 9670 flip is not running BlackBerry 6 but it does have some new features such as tabbed browsing.
Although the BlackBerry 9670 does look bit strange when open I think it looks really cute when closed. Perfect for slipping into a pocket and not having to worry about scratching the screen.
See what you think in the video below and let us know your thoughts over on the forum.
We have seen the BlackBerry Slider 9800 on video before but this new one from salomondrin.net shows what a truly beautiful device the 9800 is.
Not only do we get to see the device in detail but also the forthcoming BlackBerry 6 OS and that too looks pretty sweet. Not quite on par with Apples iOS4 but none of us BlackBerry addicts expected it to be. A definite improvement either way.
Anyway, enough of me yapping. Check out the excellent video below.
If you have not heard of giffgaff before then now is the time to listen up. To cut a long story short giffgaff are a UK mobile operator (runs off the O2 network) who have some rather attractive deals permanently and at the moment things are even better as their goody bags are half price.
This is how it works. Order a free sim from them. Buy credit and then buy a goody bag. At the moment £5.00 will get you 100 mins, unlimited texts and unlimited internet. How about that for good value.
I have been using giffgaff for a couple of months now as my review device sim card and have had no issues with them at all. Matt is the same. He has a giffgaff sim in his iPad. Why wouldn’t you for those prices. Online topping up is simple. Their website is user friendly and easy to navigate.
Head on over to giffgaff and get yourself a sim card.

There is a certain photo floating around the internet now and it is of the forthcoming HTC Vision. We must remember that HTC have made no official announcement about this device so I expect that the photo we see here will be a prototype of the Vision.
What we can tell you though is that HTC will release a device like this in the future. We get to here secret stuff here at tracyandmatt. Shall I tell you what else is coming soon from HTC? No, that would spoil things!
Anyway, the Vision looks to be a great device. Essentially a HTC Desire with a slide out QWERTY keyboard and we all know how good HTC are at those. Just look at the Touch Pro 2. That one still has the best keyboard to date if you ask me.
Keep your eyes peeled for more news on the HTC Vision in the future. We are in for an exciting quarter 3 from HTC!

The Galaxy S is without doubt the highest specced device Samsung has produced to date. With it running Android 2.1 and with an expected upgrade to 2.2 in the coming months it is perfectly placed in a market where the Android platform is growing on a daily basis.
With recent Android flagship devices being released by the likes of HTC and Motorola and also the new Apple iPhone 4 is the Samsung Galaxy S a contender for top place?
Only one way to find out and that is to read on.
Everything Everywhere Limited – Britain’s biggest communications company – has reached another important milestone today - the official integration of T-Mobile UK and Orange UK, with all employees now working for Everything Everywhere Limited.
Following the creation of the company’s Vice President tier in May, three new appointments have been made: Neil Macgeorge, VP of Products; Simon Frumkin, VP of Procurement and Supply Chain; and Stephen Harris will take the role of Chief of Staff to CEO Tom Alexander. In addition, a new team of Directors has been appointed. There are no other role or structural changes for the company’s 16,500 staff.
A number of changes will also be taking place for employees today, including new Everything Everywhere branding for key headquarter buildings, Everything Everywhere staff email addresses, new business cards and more.
It was back in April that Microsoft announced their range of KIN phones and to cut a long story short they were rubbish and they are not moving forward with the project!
“Microsoft has made the decision to focus on the Windows Phone 7 launch and will not ship KIN in Europe this fall as planned. Additionally, we are integrating our KIN team with the Windows Phone 7 team, incorporating valuable ideas and technologies from KIN into future Windows Phone releases. We will continue to work with Verizon in the U.S. to sell current KIN phones."
The guys at negrielectronics have kindly released some high quality video footage of the Nokia N9 (if that is what it will be officially called). We have seen photos of this Nokia slider before but as you will see the video gives us a pretty in depth your of the device.
Unlike the Nokia N900 this new device is running Symbian^3 which I think is the right move for Nokia based on how many Symbian devices Nokia already has.
Have a look at the video below and let us know your thoughts over on the forum.
Last night in New York Samsung held a launch event for the Galaxy S. As usual in the States the carriers all like to be a little different and have each renamed the device so it is unique to them (or confusing!).
The version that is of particular interest is the Sprint one, now named the Epic 3G. As you may have noticed from the photo it has a full QWERTY keyboard! The other three, on AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon are without the keyboard but they do all have an extra search button on the front compared to our UK version.
With the iPhone 4 out there now this top of the range Android device is a real contender for top place in the current smart phone wars. I am not far off finishing the full review for the device so keep your eyes peeled later this week for it.
Phil from Android Central was at the New York event and had a hands on with all the Galaxy S variants. You can see more photos and video over an Android Central. (Thanks Phil)

Yes, this is a plug for the podcast that Matt and I record every week with Gareth and Andy from mobiletechaddicts.com, however this weeks show is a little different.
This week we have not one, but two special guests. The first is Tom Monetto from Sharp. Tom came on the show to discuss some new technology that Sharp are working on. You will have to listen to find out what he says.
The second guest was Tracy. Normally the podcast is boys only but we made an exception to the rule this week and Tracy initially joined us to discuss the HTC Wildfire but then stayed on for the rest of the show. We had to try and swear less and cut down on our rude childish behavior! As usual the show is not totally clean so if you are easily offended please don’t listen. It is at times more like a comedy road show rather than a tech show!
You can download the podcast from here or head on over to iTunes and do a search. Enjoy.
