Arne over at the unwired has just posted a 24 minute video look at the HTC Touch HD. Thanks to O2 Germany, which will exclusively carry the HTC Touch HD in Germany, Arne got his hands on an early prototype and while the ROM build wasn’t anything close to a release candidate, the hardware looked pretty final already. Well it looks as though PC Magazine had this one spot on with this being a feature phone and not a smartphone, it has been confirmed today that the latest Google Android G1 handset will have no exchange support, no A2DP, can only read office docs like word, excel and powerpoint with no ability to create the documents. No skype support and it will sync over the air to only Google Services. No desktop client is available and you cannot tether it to your laptop as a modem.
Microsoft has informed some of its partners that it has had to delay Windows Mobile 7, a much anticipated update to its cell phone operating system. Although Microsoft has not publicly said when to expect Windows Mobile 7, partners who had expected to have a final release in their hands by early next year have been told now that it won’t be ready until the second half of next year, sources told CNET News.
T-Mobile makes mobile surfing easier, faster and more convenient, direct access to your most important and personal Internet services with one click on your mobile-phone display. Active widgets provide automatic notification of new information on personal Internet sites if required. Strategic partnership between T-Mobile and Opera for the creation of an open, standardised platform.
Well looks like T-Mobile already had the images stocked on their website so a simple search around shows off the new Google Android G1. Mobility Today will be live blogging about this today as they attend the event in NYC but for now enjoy the photo and leaked details after the break.
