T-Mobile G2 rumours begin to surface

t-mobile-g2 It might be too good to be true, but in fact, the G1 might already be an old deal for T-Mobile, HTC, and Google, therefore, the companies started working on the G2. Only specifications are available, and a mock-up shot. Rumours are said to be “not-confirmed”, so we cannot actually qualify this as a strong possibility. The G2 is said to be in a touch screen-only form factor, and like many competitors, has four buttons. The trackball is going to stay. A 5 megapixel camera will be the upgrade to the current 3.2, while an additional VGA camera will be included, for 3G video calls.

081218-glaxy7-01 It’s been several months now since we last caught sight of the 5-megapixel Asus Glaxy 7 phone, but it seems that Mobile Review were lucky enough to snag one for a quick review. IE 6 on 6 available now for the Touch HD

image MoDaCo have released a custom ROM for the HTC Touch HD and included in the ROM is the much anticipated IE 6 on 6. The ROM is a World Wide Edition in English and is based on the HTC 1.19 Asia ROM. You must download the whole ROM image and upgrade your phone with it, as this browser is not available as a separate download. Since it is not clear which manufacturers will release a ROM upgrade with this browser, it may well be that some phones will never ever get this browser officially. You can find all the details over at MoDaCo.
