Looks like the Android device promises are starting to appear at long last, here is a video hands on with the Samsung i7500 which has some really nice specs. This one will surely give HTC a run for their money as Samsung seem to understand the whole 3.5mm headset jack and camera flash requirements where other manufacturers do not.
- 5 megapixel camera with LED flash
- Quad-Band GSM
- Tri-Band 7.2Mbps HSDPA (900/1700/2100MHZ)
- 320×480 pixel 3.2? AMOLED Screen
- WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth
- 1,500mAh battery
- 8GB Internal Storage (expandable to 32GB via microSD)
- 3.5mm Headset Jack
Take a look at the video after the break.
Matt from Tracy and Matt managed to get his hands on a pre-release HTC Snap for 24 hours and has put together a video unboxing and preview of the device.
It looks very nice and a good upgrade from the previous HTC front facing QWERTY Smartphone known as the Dash or HTC S620. Just wish this one had a higher resolution screen, 320 x 240 seems so old now.
Anyway take a look for yourself, the videos after the break.

So far Apple has had exclusive agreements with normally one major Carrier in every country that it is available in, just recently we have heard numerous rumblings that the UK exclusive deal with O2 is coming to an end and now we are actually starting to see other UK networks starting to mention the iPhone in strange ways. Earlier this week we saw a webpage from Orange with internet settings for your iPhone, a little strange considering that the settings were UK internet settings and Orange does not offer the iPhone as it is an O2 exclusive. Now we have discovered a Vodafone portal designed for the iPhone. It is basically a portal that gives you access to news but the question is why would Vodafone go to these lengths if they weren’t about to get the iPhone, adding to the confusion is the following line from the page:-
“Available to all iPhone users including non-Vodafone customers.”
This is getting very suspicious and leads us to believe that we may very soon see the iPhone on more than O2 in the very near future and to be honest, it is a good thing as choice of Carrier is a very important choice to have.
T-Mobile today announces the launch of the MDA Compact V (aka Touch Diamond2), an advanced touchscreen smartphone designed exclusively for T-Mobile which combines elegant styling with an impressive feature list, including access to the latest mobile internet and entertainment services.

Searching the web is effortless too with fast internet on the move with Mobile Broadband.
