Documents To Go has eventually hit the App Store after what seems like forever waiting for it. There are two versions available one that can sync with Microsoft Exchange to retrieve attachments that you can then edit and a straight forward version without the exchange feature.
The one downside so far is the omission of any ability to edit Excel files although Dataviz have promised that this will be updated very soon and for free to anyone that buys this app now.
Pricing of the application is amazing but apparently is a limited time offer, the two versions are priced at £2.99 and £5.99 respectively.
Matt Miller from ZDnet has already done a review of the software and the video is after the break.
Of course it is not really a “browser” (like Opera Mobile or Internet Explorer) but it is an UI control – the same as the one used in Safari – that is used in app – like many other “browser” apps. However this “browser” adds something interesting: you can easily share links to web pages that you are viewing on 2 currently leading social networks: Twitter and Facebook. Of course next week, iPhone OS 3.0 will bring copy and paste and ability to share also with standard social network clients, but sharing directly from the browser might be faster.
This app is FREE (or rather banner-sponsored to be exact) and here is how this app looks like:
According to Apcom/I.R.I.S., the official distributors of Apple products in Romania, cited by Ziarul Financiar, the Palm Pre should come in the country at about the same price as in the US. This report comes from ZF.ro and it quotes Zsolt Kadar, the director of marketing for Apcom/I.R.I.S., "The launch depends on demand and in the West, but the device should be available in Eastern Europe, including Romania, at the end of September, at prices similar to those outside ($550 without subscription red.)." The Palm Pre may be offered on the local market in Romania through wireless carriers as well, though no exact details have been made public.
Still remember the Samsung B7610 Louvre we featured way back in April? It turns out that the Louvre is actually the newest Omnia from the company, the Samsung Omnia Pro. Taking a cue from HTC where their Pro version such as the HTC Touch Pro2 features a QWERTY keypad, Samsung does the same with the Omnia Pro. More details and pics after the break.
This whole Ice Age movie franchise is stuff for kids and new movie from this franchise is coming in July 2009 (with dinosaurs this time!), so movie studios decided to promote it by releasing FREE game for iPhone and iPod touch!
We have tested it and while it is a rather simple skate boarding game where you should pick objects while skateboarding, it has nice 3D feeling to it and here is how it looks like:

The long awaited successor to the MDA Mail, HTC S620 or T-Mobile Dash is here and we have put it through it’s paces over the last week. Now can it live up to it’s popular predecessor with added features like 3G and and Inner Circle, read on.
Even though O2 are the official network for the iPhone in the UK, it has been left up to The Carphone Warehouse to step up and offer buyers the chance to pre-order the iPhone 3G S and avoid waiting in queues. What is even better they are guaranteeing delivery on launch day to your home.
Now why can O2 not offer this service, they say that as launch day is so close to the announcement there was no time, more like they couldn’t be bothered and prefer the publicity that people queuing outside their shops would bring.
You can find all the details right here.
Texting (i.e. sending of SMS messages) is undergoing constant evolution. It is the engine that powers Twitter (sending to Twitter possible over SMS in many countries receiving in few)… and latest craze is sexting – that in some prude countries is perceived as forbidden fruit.
However in all forms of texting having ability to use abbreviations is very crucial, not just because of text message limitations (160 in SMS, 140 in Twitter) but also simply because people are lazy (not that there is anything wrong with that).
TUTD: The Ultimate Texting Dictionary – that has been released in app store today, comes to the rescue of texters:
We know that Intel’s Moorestown chip is better than the Intel Atom netbooks are currently using now, but what if we tell you the 45nm Moorestown processor is built with MIDs in mind and that a company called Elektrobit has fashioned a MID with iPhonesque form factor and a UI of incredible charm?
