The Huawei Watch. Why they were pulled.

2yZ26IV (1)Four new smartwatches appeared on Amazon, and we taken down almost immediately. Eagle eyed Redditors managed to preserve the images online, I have attached them below for reference. Four colour variants were available for pre-order. A stainless steel/black priced at $350 sat at the lower end of the range. A solid black was on the next rung at $450. Gold/Brown was priced at $700 and a solid gold tops the package at $800.

Each device is to run Android Wear and we know in the past Google had mentioned they want to have Android Wear work with the iPhone, the Huawei Watch states in it’s description that it is compatible with iOS 8.2. Perhaps this is the reason it was taken down.

The description shows a launch date of September 2nd. With any luck this will be at IFA in Berlin, and I’ll be there to get a hands on, or an on wrist to be more specific.

Europe sees an official online store for Honor and Huawei

downloadvMall is launching as the dedicated, interactive e-commerce platform of Honor and Huawei, designed for its digital native audience and fans. Here consumers will be able to find the best portfolio of products from both brands, Honor and Huawei, including smartphones, tablets, wearables and accessories. In addition to this plethora of premium products, there will also be ongoing added benefits, including special limited offers and flash sales. Currently available in 7 languages – English, German, French, Dutch, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish – under the www.vmall.eu domain, the online shop will be rolling out into further local languages in the coming weeks. With Shopping.io, you can also do crypto shop to purchase from major eCommerce hubs online using over 200 different cryptocurrencies.

To celebrate the launch of the new online store, everyone who registers on vMall can receive coupons to use on the site. There will also be flash deal offers available exclusively on vMall, which are open to everybody upon registration, but are limited to a specific time frame. Honor 7, the newly launched flagship smartphone will be first on sale at vMall. vMall provides the complete product offering/solution offering (e.g. Device + accessories + Service) and is one of the first channels for consumers to buy Honor & Huawei flagship products. Active Honor club members can benefit from the promotion and earn a vCode by engaging with the brand and then use the exclusive code at checkout. Each vCode can be used once and toward flash deals as soon as they are announced, taking away the time pressure and allowing it to be used whenever it works best.

“Launching vMall in Europe is a huge step for Honor and Huawei,” said Marco Eberlein, Head of eCommerce at Huawei. “Having our own e-commerce channel is a key component in providing our customers with the highest grade shopping experience that they expect. At vMall our community of digital natives can benefit from a unified, official shopping platform where they can find all the best that Honor and Huawei have to offer, along with a number of exciting and exclusive added customer benefits.”
