1MORE brings its award winning Triple Driver In-Ear Headphones to the UK

triple_mainDescribed by The Wall Street Journal as ‘China’s answer to Beats’, specialist audio manufacturer 1MORE today introduces its award winning Triple Driver In-Ear Headphones to the UK. The headphones feature two balanced armatures and a separate dynamic driver to deliver an extremely accurate listening experience with unsurpassed dynamic power and are available for just £99.99 from http://uk.1more.com

1MORE uses the latest patented designs and materials to enhance sound, comfort and aesthetic appeal. From aerospace grade materials to genuine Swarovski crystals, 1MORE takes no shortcuts to maintain a standard of modern excellence in both function and form. 1MORE may not as yet be a well-known audio brand in the UK, but it has sold more than 10 million earphones in China and has expanded globally into X countries including the highly competitive U.S market. The Triple Driver In Ear Headphones have received rave reviews in all territories and been described as ‘an audiophile bargain’, ‘impressive sound at a great price’ and ‘simply wow.’

Winner of numerous awards including the “Best of Award” for home theatre review and 2016 winner of the Richard Beers Innovation Award, the Triple Driver In-Ear headphones have been expertly tuned by Grammy Award winning sound engineer Luca Bignardi to deliver a precise representation of a listener’s favourite music.  The two balanced armatures and a separate dynamic driver deliver an extremely powerful yet intimate listening experience which together create a spacious and transparent feeling of having nothing between users and their music.

The patented armatures work together to deliver sizzling highs and can withstand extremely high input power without distortion. They have an extended frequency range up to 40,000 Hz to reproduce high-resolution audio – frequencies in this range add “transients”, a sonic quality normally only heard in live music. The armatures are uniquely inset with durable silicone covers for lasting performance and resilience. The patented triple layer driver with aerospace grade metal inside two outer layers of PET, a resilient polymer, greatly increases bass and midrange response time, definition, and fullness.

The headphones are comprised of a lightweight aluminium body with an interior enamelled copper wrapped around Kevlar cable to increase durability and strength. The surface of the cable is enhanced by TPE for softness and comfort with a final braided layer of nylon for lasting resilience and tangle resistance. The oblique angled ear fittings naturally match the ear canals and the snug fit increases noise isolation, fullness, and bass to ensure a fully satisfying listening experience without the need for unhealthy volume levels. There are 6 sets of different ear tip sizes included to ensure a good fit for all ears.

The Triple Driver’s dual-system intelligent control technology also supports both Apple devices and mainstream Android devices, solving the in-line control compatibility between the current Apple and Android system, allowing users to turn up or down the volume and select between songs. The headphones also have hands-free calling capability where problematic cross-talk is a thing of the past with ground wires set independently to provide a high fidelity sound experience so users can focus on their conversations, instead of background static. Additionally, the single-sided control is control is conveniently located for easy access when it is required to take a call.

Available for just £99.99, the 1MORE Triple Driver in-ear headphones deliver a spectacular sound at amazing value when compared to other headphones of similar specifications available in the market. 1MORE are proud to be superior to the industry standard.

Zappar showcases Accuray’s innovative technology through Mixed Reality

Zappar, the world leaders in augmented and mixed reality, has partnered with Accuray to help bring to life the company’s new Radixact™ Treatment Delivery System at the annual European Society for Radiotherapy & Oncology (ESTRO) meeting in Vienna, Austria. Renowned for its leading-edge medical solutions, our latest innovation enabled Accuray to demonstrate some highly advanced features of the Radixact System through Zappar’s new mixed reality technology.

Using Zappar’s technology, delegates who attended the meeting were taken on a journey ‘inside’ the physical machinery, bringing to life the internal components and offering a unique view of the product itself – all via ‘pointcodes’ which allowed a mobile device to track digital content to the physical device.

Designed especially for the ESTRO meeting, the inner workings showed potential customers how x-ray radiation, refined beamlines and fast imaging technology are used to deliver treatments to patients.  This offered an invaluable opportunity for the company to actively engage with customers and key decision makers. Birgit Fleurent, Chief Marketing Officer at Accuray commented, “We are working with Zappar to present an alternative digital channel which enables us to effectively demonstrate our products to a larger number of customers. As a company, we pride ourselves in providing innovative technology to the medical industry and our marketing solutions should be no different. We have achieved an overwhelmingly positive response to the mixed reality technology from this year’s attendees at ESTRO, which demonstrates just how valuable this type of innovation is for the industry.”

Max Dawes, Partnerships Director at Zappar, added, “Mixed reality can add real value to the medical industry especially in conveying the features and benefits of highly technical pieces of machinery to customers. We were excited to work closely with Accuray to make sure we delivered a practical and engaging solution that demonstrated the company’s innovative product in the best possible way.”

Philips launches S-line and V-line displays

243V7QDABX_ftl_rflxMMD, the leading technology company and brand license partner for Philips monitors, is extending its S7-line and V7-line. These lines bring great visuals to organisations and home-office users who seek displays that drive business efficiency at a good value. V7 is the entry point line with all essential features for productivity, while S7 also incorporates some premium features. S7’s complete line-up will consist of 2 variations in the size 21.5 inches and 4 variations in the size 23.8 inches. V7’s complete line-up provides an even larger spectrum to choose from, with 2 variations in 21.5; 3 in 23.8 and 4 in 27 inches. Both lines are equipped with technologies oriented toward wellbeing of the eyes during prolonged screen use.

Quality, performance and durability
Powerful and easy-to-use, the S7-line and V7-line displays offer the right mix of performance, essential features and affordability. They make screen time easier, more productive and budget-friendly for home-office users as well as for public and private-sector organisations ranging from call centres to schools and libraries, public and private offices.

Both display lines feature innovations that would not be out of place even on higher-end models. Even at first glance, the S7 displays, in particular, are built to impress, with a slimmer bezel and stand column that create a clean, minimalistic look as well as taking up far less room on the desktop. The latest models – in both S7 and V7 lines – are all frameless on three sides. As well as looking good, the seamless design is valuable for apps that need two displays to be placed side-by-side: the “joint” between the displays is barely perceptible, creating the impression of having one large display for better comparisons and productivity. With Full HD resolution and the wide viewing angle of IPS technology, the panels in both lines offer clear, crisp viewing, even when the screen is looked at almost from the side. The display positioning is adjustable for maximum comfort: the S7-line’s base enables the display to be tilted, swivelled and height-adjusted exactly to the right angle. The V-line displays all have a tilt option.

User-centric features to drive efficiency and promote well-being
The S7-line and V7-line displays are built to handle the rigours of intensive use, with just the right features to help users be as productive as they can for as long as they need, as Artem Khomenko, Product Manager Philips monitors Europe at MMD, points out: “These displays are designed with a host of standout features to make hours-long viewing more productive.”

All S7-line displays now feature the innovative SoftBlue LED technology as standard. Research has shown that blue light waves emitted by LED displays can potentially affect vision over time.  SoftBlue is a technology built in the hardware of the monitor, which aims to counter this. Without compromising the colour or image, SoftBlue reduces the harmful blue light waves. V7-line displays feature a technology with similar effect – LowBlue light mode. LowBlue light mode is a software solution which reduces harmful LED blue light.

Other features oriented towards users’ eye comfort are EasyRead (S7 and V7-lines), which creates a paper-like reading experience for long documents, and SmartContrast (S7 and V7-lines), which auto-adjusts colours and backlight intensity to what is being displayed on the screen (the optimum settings for a spreadsheet, for example, are very different to those for video-viewing).

In line with the needs of business users, S7-line displays are equipped with additional capabilities. Built-in stereo speakers ensure a multimedia experience with great sound in tasks such as videoconferencing, and Flicker-Free technology regulates brightness and reduces flicker effects for more comfortable viewing. Hi Gareth,

If you’d like to spruce up your Google Home or just have it better match your home decor, not only are the different coloured bases available from Google, but Slickwraps have some great ‘skins’ available:

https://www.slickwraps.com/devices/cool-stuff/google/google-home.html

I got the Natural Series Bamboo one and it looks fantastic. They dispatched from the US and it was with me in the UK within a week.

Andrew

Re:Flex 5000

For the price would have been nice if it had two adapters mounted on it for two people to use it after kids are in bed. Guess you could use a splitter, might want to try it if you have it.

Some things I would like you to cover in your review.

– Range claims to be 30m, how accurate is that in real world environments and if your listening to music, how well does it work if you walk around or even go into another room.

– Looked like there was a battery cover, is the battery removable (replaceable) or is another expensive disposable.

– How accurate is the advertised 12 hours of battery life in real world usage

Joe

The Nokia 6 looks like it will be a fantastic phone for repetitively little money, I love the fact that it is made from a single piece of aluminium rather than plastic. I also love the fact that it comes with stock Android. It could be interesting competition for the likes of the Moto G5 & G5 Plus.
