Beyond:Two Souls Willem Dafoe Announcement trailer with release date

beyond two soulsBeyond: Two Souls was announced back at E3 2012 and is the brand new game from the creators of the much publicised Heavy Rain which was quite frankly incredible for its time, with the character animations and facial expressions. But with this new game they’ve pushed the graphical aspects even further creating a really immersive experience for the gamer that really showcases what the company QuanticDream can do with technology.

I thought that this trailer was exciting because of how lifelike the character model is, quite unbelievable really, and things can only move forward now that we have the promise of Sony’s PS4 this christmas, this title though is a PS3 exclusive which is also what Heavy Rain was back in 2010.

BEYOND: Two Souls is a psychological action thriller starring Oscar nominee Ellen Page (Inception, Juno) in the lead role of Jodie Holmes and featuring Quantic Dream’s unique brand of gameplay.BEYOND tells the story of Jodie, a young woman who’s known since birth that she is different from everyone else. She possesses supernatural powers through her psychic link to an invisible entity she calls Aidan  and this gift has changed her life forever. You play through 15 years of Jodie’s life during the game which suggest that the games creators are aiming for a very emotional experience for the gamers of the world.

Willem Dafoe (Platoon, Spider-Man) who will star as Nathan Dawkins, a government scientist who works with Jodie to analyse her powers.

QuanticDream have released a North America release date of October 8th 2013 but have yet to release any information on other regions around the world but stay tuned for more information on this compelling game.

For now you can enjoy the trailer below.

Remember Me Release Date with Trailer

remember me game

Remember me is an interesting game concept for a game as it is a third person game where you use no weapon throughout the whole game,  you instead have different abilities such as solid combat,  but the main feature of the game (as it mentions in the trailer) is memory remixing.

You play in a futuristic city called Neo-Paris in the future year of 2084,  Capcom, the games creator puts you in the shoes of a memory hunter named Nilin.  The name of the game is basically that she strives to recover her own memory by remixing others to change events in the future.

The original release date was scheduled for May this year but along with this trailer is the official later release date of June 4th in North America and the 7th in Europe,  hopefully this pushing back will give gamers around the world a great game.. Let’s wait and see I guess.

The trailer is below… Enjoy.

Motorola Motoluxe Review

Motorola Motoluxe Review In the past Motorola have released some let’s say ‘interesting’ devices that haven’t necessarily done that well in general. However they have recently announced and released a new smartphone with a whole new look, the product in question is named the Motoluxe, which admittedly isn’t the most attractive name but the question is:

Is the phone more attractive than its name? And is it any good for today’s market?

To find out the answers to those questions and any of your own you will have to read on, and just to note if you haven’t done so already I would take a look at James’s unboxing video for a rundown of specifications and a quick look around the device before you read this review.

HTC Explorer Review

HTC Explorer ReviewIn 2011 HTC became an even bigger player in the Smartphone market, possibly due to them releasing phones at a fair rate of knots! Here I have one of their lower end devices with a very nice low price tag attached to it, the HTC Explorer. One of this handsets main selling points is without question its low price tag as it is way below the 150 mark on both pay as you go and SIM free.

The question though is does this device have any more selling points, or is it just another cheap phone for the kids?

To find out you will have to read on.

NetFlix for iPad: Quick Review

NetFlix for iPadYou will have hopefully read James’ review of the LoveFilm Player application for iPad. LoveFilm has long been the movie lovers rental service of choice but now it seems that having the physical disc delivered is a thing of the past. Netflix is a 100% stream only service that has been around for a while over in Americaland and has now arrived in the UK, to make the competition a little more interesting.

For the purpose of this review I decided to enroll on Netflix’s 1 month trial to give it a thorough testing, I hadn’t tried streaming a film on any platform before so I was quite interested to see what the quality would be like on an average broadband connection. After the 1 month trial it will cost you just £6 P/M which for the quality of video that you will receive is awesome value! Also the app is FREE!! My favourite word!

I have to say that I have been really surprised in a very good way that the quality of streaming is super! I have an average internet connection of 5 mb which is below the UK average but for my area is pretty good, however I wasn’t expecting the high quality that Netflix has offered me. I have to note to you guys that this is a review of not only the iPad version but of the iPhone version too, however they are exactly the same app just smaller on the iPhone, so I will be just using iPad screenshots for the review.

Kodak Easyshare Max Z990 review

Kodak Easyshare Max Z990 review Kodak as we all know, have been around for a very long time, providing great affordable digital cameras to the masses, but they haven’t often ventured into the what I would call ‘Beginner photographer’ market. By this I mean the Bridge camera as this is often seen as the stop gap between a blooming photographers becoming a professional user, the obvious next step after a bridge camera is a DSLR which are A LOT more expensive than this one.

I have in for review a brand new Bridge camera from Kodak named- Kodak Easyshare Max Z990. Will this stack up against the competition or fall flat on its face due to relative inexperience in the field of bridge cameras?

Read on to find out.

Sanyo VPC-CA100 review

Sanyo VPC-CA100 review If you cast your minds back to September 2010 you will remember that I reviewed the Sanyo Xacti VPC-CS1 compact camcorder and you might also remember that I am not really an expert camcorder, in this area I’m just an average consumer. I do use a camcorder frequently time for family events etc. so that’s the approach I am taking for this review.

So with this review of the latest iteration from Sanyo the Xacti VPC-CA100 camcorder I am more experienced and more knowledgeable (in theory anyway)

So if you are in the market for new camcorder then please do read on to find out what I think of the latest from Sanyo.

Oh yes and I mustn’t forget to mention that if you haven’t done so already I will point you in the direction of Matt’s CA100 unboxing video on the site.

Nokia C3-01 Review

Nokia C3-01 Review Here we are again with another offering from Nokia the C3-01 Touch and Type, this is the slightly bigger brother to another recently released Nokia the X3-02 Touch and Type.

Here at tracyandmatt.co.uk we have had so many Nokia’s in for review and most of which we have liked but there have been the odd exception to the rule so is the C3-01 one of those that we don’t like? Or will it be in the liked category?

Read on for the full review.

Huawei IDEOS Review

Huawei IDEOS Review I have here the most exciting review device I’ve done to date for tracyandmatt.co.uk; the Huawei IDEOS. This isn’t just any old ordinary release by the company that provided MiFi and pretty much every half decent mobile broadband dongle to date, it is the very first of very many mobile phones to ship with Android 2.2 Froyo! So as you can probably gather already I was ridiculously excited to have been given this review so I hope that I don’t disappoint.

If you really want to know more about this super exciting new handset then read on!

Samsung S3370 Corby 3G Review

Samsung S3370 Corby 3G ReviewIn this review I will be talking about the newest addition of Samsung’s Corby range of mobile phones which is the S3370 or Corby 3G as it is also named. We have seen a lot of these types of handsets here at tracyandmatt.co.uk now so how does this one compare to previous ones?

The Corby 3G is not the best specced phone but it does come with an attractive price tag both on PAYG and on contract. This could well be the deciding factor.

Want to find out more about this handset? And to find out where I think it sits in the market?

Then please do read on.
