In the last month HTC have pumped out a couple of rather high end devices. Whilst the HTC Desire is the flagship, the HTC Legend, an update to the popular Hero, is no slacker. Here we are going take a look at the Legend and see if it’s worth your time.
Some time ago Sony announced a new range is compact HD camcorders calling them the Bloggie range. One assumes that they got the name from the fact that they support YouTube recording modes and files that are compatible for direct upload to YouTube.
We’ve reviewed quite a few of these small form HD camcorder in the past from the TG3E to almost all of the cameras from Sanyo’s Xacti range. I continue to be impressed with the quality of video footage that you can get from such small cameras these days.
The Bloggie also boasts a unique feature; included with the MHS-PM5 model that we are reviewing here is a clip-on 360 degree lens. This actually allows you to record a full 360 degree panorama video! You’ll have to use Sony’y bundled software to process the recorded footage but you can then export the 360 video in a variety of formats.
As always I’m going to try the Bloggie out over the next week or so but for now you can take a look at the unboxing video below.
It was earlier today that we posted about the boygeniusreport getting hold of some screen shots of BlackBerry OS 6.0, but now they have also showed us a new phone, The BlackBerry 9670.
Here is what we know about the device so far:
CDMA
5MP Camera
Wi-Fi
360×480 internal display
External display
Trackpad
OS 6.0
MicroSD
Bluetooth
Although the device is listed as being CDMA I would imagine RIM will make a GSM version of the 9670 like they have done with all other BlackBerry smartphones.
Gareth, Matt, James and Andy return for another fun podcast covering all types of mobile news and views across the UK. Featuring such profound nonsense as Andy’s inflatable girlfriend, Giff Gaff, the new iPhone and a feature examining instant messaging clients on mobile platforms.
Regulars: James Richardson, Matt Davis, Gareth Myles and Andy Lee.
This is a nice turn up for the books. The boygeniusreport.com has managed to not only get some BlackBerry OS 6 screenshots but also details of the changes to the OS.
Rather than me waffling on here’s what the BGR has to say:
