Nokia N97 specs, pictures and video

image We told you earlier today about the Nokia N97 now we have a video showing it in action and have to say that this looks like one nice device. The screen looks like very sensitive although its is resistive and the touch looks like a much better implementation than the Nokia 5800. Check out the video after the break along with the official press release specs and pictures.

Nokia N97 announced

image Nokia World 2008 is taking place this week in Barcelona, Spain and the event kicked off with the keynote announcing the Nokia N97 multimedia computer. The Nokia N97 brings a QWERTY keyboard and touch screen to the Nseries or you could say it brings a phone and S60 to the Nokia Internet Tablet. The Nokia promotional materials state, “Desktop.Laptop.Pocket” as they bring you a device with a 3.5 inch touch screen display (640×360 pixels resolution) that slides up and at an angle (similar to the AT&T Tilt) to reveal a full 3-row QWERTY keyboard and directional pad. More details after the break.

image Mobility Today have taken a video look at the Mophie JuicePack which provides extra charge for your iPhone when you are away from a power point, it delivers a nice all in one enclosure too. The JuicePack does have a shortfall for those who want the ultra protection since the entire top of the phone is exposed. If you are in the market for a third party power option the JuicePack is definitely one to consider, you can see the video after the break.

Touch HD & CoPilot News

The team at Devicewire.com have just given us some great news based on an eMail from ALK/CoPilot :

L1_AV-PDA-ACC-00040

The current version of CoPilot that you are stocking actually supports the Touch HD rather well, and we are simply working on an enhanced version that will improve screen resolution and also operate in landscape mode. In terms of updates, ALK will eventually post the new Touch HD version for existing customers to download when it becomes available.

So if you want a copy of ALK Copilot 7 for your Touch HD then click here for the European version and here for the UK & Ireland version
