3G iPhone 22% thinner, better battery life

image Wired’s Leander Kahney, arguably the most credible yet of those who’ve weighed in with alleged specs of Apple’s upcoming 3G iPhone, is reporting the handset will be 22 percent thinner than its predecessor, not thicker as some earlier reports had suggested.

O2 Fires Staff After iPhone Discount Scam

image Staff at branches of mobile phone retailer O2 have been sacked after using discounts to buy cheap Apple iPhones and then selling them on via the internet.

About half a dozen employees were dismissed from London stores after being caught scooping up job lots of the sought-after handsets.

More new Xperia X1 Pictures and Design Tweaks

imageAccording to The Sony Ericsson Blog the Xperia X1 has had a third update and will have an ‘Xperia Panel’ key and ‘Xperia’ logo under the screen as well as a second colour called  X1 Steel Silver. We have to say that this device looks really nice in the silver and the more pictures we are seeing  of it the more attractive its becoming. High resolution pictures following.

I just got this press release from NormSoft letting us know that they have just released their Pocket Tunes Deluxe music player for Windows Mobile, Smartphone and Palm. The software includes internet radio capability.

Vodafone UK Announces New Pricing for Mobile Broadband USBs from June 1st

image From June 1st Vodafone UK’s Mobile Broadband USB modems will be reduced from £99 to £49 on its 30 day contract price plans. The move is part of Vodafone’s commitment to making mobile broadband more accessible for consumers. The price of the ‘3.6mbps USB Modem’ (on all 12/18/24month contracts) will also be reduced by 50% from June 1.

    Kevin Rose says new iPhone this week?
