Xbox at E3 2013
This week starting 10th June is one of the, if not the ultimate week of gaming excitement that gamers across the globe get to enjoy. I’m talking of course about the yearly Electronic Entertainment Expo in LA and this is where we see the latest and greatest announcements from the industry leading companies in gaming.
This year was always going to be one of the best E3’sever simply because we were going to see the biggest console battle between two companies for 8 years ish, the battle is of course between Microsoft and Sony respectively. Both companies have announced their new next generation consoles, the Xbox One and PS4 and to be quite honest before the conferences the talk was all about how Microsoft could ‘redeem themselves’ after the shambles they created after their Xbox One reveal event a couple of weeks previous. To a point I think that Microsoft did redeem themselves by showing some incredible games running in real time on their new console, but the problem regarding the trading in of games and the ‘online check in’ still remains.
For everyone who does not know what I am referring to I refer to the following web page and implore you to check it out because it could well be the difference between buying an Xbox One console and opting instead for the PS4 which i will delve into in another post.

Now that is done with I will go on to tell you all about the Microsoft Conference from E3 2013, the build up to the conference was obviously very sceptical due to the licencing issues and such, so what did Microsoft do to win over their loyal fan base? They showed gamers across the world some of the coolest games that we are likely to see is what they did! But first of all I will show you the console itself for those who have not yet seen it:

Ah yes before I forget, Microsoft also announced another redesign for the much loved Xbox 360 console, the new design is smaller, quieter and sleeker all around and below is an image for you.
As well as releasing the redesigned 360 they announced that a new exclusive title would come to the platform, the game is named World of Tanks.
How much for the new 360 console? I hear you ask..well for the 4GB model it comes in at £149 and for the 250GB model it’s going to be £199.
