Nokia N96 Video Preview

image The guys over at crowdedbrain have managed to get a preview Nokia N96 to take a look at and they have posted a couple of videos showing the device in action. Will the N96 be a good enough upgrade to the N958 GB? At this stage they say not quite. As the DVB-H service is not available in the UK till 2009/2010, by the time this comes out the next model will be released, so the only real advantage is the 16GB of storage and the various design tweaks. Videos after the break.

Samsung i900 Omnia unboxed

Still trying to make your mind up between the HTC Touch Diamond and the Samsung i900 Omnia? You are not alone! Our Omnia arrived just a few days ago and we’re still trying to decide which phone we like best.

So far I’m liking the widecreen style 240×400 display and the sensitivity of the touch screen but I’m not sure about that stylus.

Samsung i900 Omnia

If you you are a regular you may have seen our post recently about the 8GB and 16GB versions. We’ve been told that the 16GB version will only be available on contract and leaving the 8GB version for those purchased SIM-free.

Because Samsung are not releasing the 16GB version Clove Technology thought they would come to the rescue with a special offer to help boost the memory available by offering a package with a FREE 4GB microSD card.

This offer is valid on all purchases of the 8GB Omnia, but you need the voucher code: SAM8GB0708

Simply use the code about when buying the 8GB Omnia and Clove will send the machine with a free 4GB card!

Here’s our unboxing video for you to have a look at while Steve get the review ready:

Mobility Today Palm Treo Pro unboxing

image My good friend David Ciccone managed to get his hands on the Treo Pro which we discussed on the first episode of the Mobile Tech Addicts Podcast and he has posted an unboxing video showing the new Palm Treo Pro along with a good look at the outside features of this great looking handset. We are talking to Palm and are very hopeful of getting hold of one of these for ourselves to review, it looks like this will be released in the UK at the beginning of September and if it is as innovative and stable as the Treo 750V then Palm may be on to a winner. Video after the break.

The HTC Tytn (Hermes, Vario II), Tytn II (Kaiser, Vario III) and Touch Pro. I wanted to show any speed differences or functionality of using them.

Multi-touch on the HTC Diamond/Touch Pro

image-thumb63 What is the one thing that iphone users brag about a lot? Multi-Touch which enables them to perform features like pinch zoom in and out. Well if this video has got anything to say about it we are going to get this feature too, well at least the HTC Diamond / Touch Pro will get something to say about it.
