We posted earlier about a new application called GSCroll by mobile src that allows you to swipe your finger left/right/up/down on the touch panel to scroll or navigate on an HTC Diamond or Touch Pro, well msmobiles have now tested it out and we have a video of it in action after the break.
We posted a story last week about a phone coming out of China that can run Windows Mobile or Android, well now we have a video of it in action running Android. Its over 9 minutes long though but shows you the OS in a very detailed way although it is silent so no translations necessary. Video after the break.
The Sony Ericsson C905 is another example of the 8 megapixel camera phones that have arrived on the scene lately. We’ve already started reviewing a number 8MP camera phones and you’ll find several unboxing videos already on the site. As you can see from the photo below, we are looking at an Orange branded version of the C905 but you can also get it SIM-free and on other networks.
The C905 review will be along soon but until then we thought that you would enjoy the unboxing video.

The guys over at Phonescoop have grabbed a look at the Nokia N97 and posted a video so we can all enjoy it. This new Nokia handset looks pretty nice and the specs also seem reasonably good too, take a look at the video after the break and see it in action, this may be a phone a lot of people will want to get their hands on.
There is no application as yet to allow you to watch any content from the BBC’s iPlayer website it is not a problem. If you actually visit the website within the iPhones Safari browser you can actually watch all the content without a problem. The videos on the iPlayer site, when selected, open up and play through the iPhones inbuilt Quicktime video player. It works really well and the quality is great too. You have to be in the UK though to enjoy it due to licensing. Video of it in action after the break.
As you are no doubt aware the iPhone cannot be used in landscape mode to compose emails which is another strange quirk that we are waiting for Apple to address. Until that time we have seen various applications that can help. One such application is Wide Email which gives you this functionality but more importantly also gives you short cuts for well used phrases or words. For example I can program the letters mta and the keyboard will automatically type Mobile Tech Addicts. Take a look at the video after the break to see how well this application works.
There are quite a few phones out there now with 8 megapixel cameras built in. We will be looking at the Sony Ericsson C905, Samsung i8510, LG Renoir and this the Samsung M8800 Pixon.

We told you earlier today about the Nokia N97 now we have a video showing it in action and have to say that this looks like one nice device. The screen looks like very sensitive although its is resistive and the touch looks like a much better implementation than the Nokia 5800. Mobility Today have taken a video look at the Mophie JuicePack which provides extra charge for your iPhone when you are away from a power point, it delivers a nice all in one enclosure too. The JuicePack does have a shortfall for those who want the ultra protection since the entire top of the phone is exposed. If you are in the market for a third party power option the JuicePack is definitely one to consider, you can see the video after the break.
