Samsung ATIV S Unboxing Video

The last of the ‘first’ batch of Windows Phone 8 has finally arrived. The Samsung ATIV S was delayed several times, but was it too late once the likes of Nokia and HTC had already released a couple of new Windows Phones each?

The ATIV S is a big phone, with a 4.8 inch screen, but due to its thickness and weight it doesn’t feel huge which impressed me. Its Super AMOLED touchscreen is quite beautiful and protected by Gorilla Glass you can at least hope a drop won’t damage the display.

Under the hood is a 1.5GHz dual-core processor which is more than enough to ensure the ATIV S is nippy. With the improvements in WP8, over WP7, the Samsung ATIV S looks to be a nice alternative to the other Windows devices on the market. Its build quality doesn’t feel as good, but as the Android market has proven – that doesn’t really mean anything.

Samsung Galaxy Camera Unboxing Video

Prior to the Samsung Galaxy Camera arriving with me I wasn’t particularly excited by it. Not because it wouldn’t be a great camera but I just couldn’t see the point of it running Android. After using it for a few hours I soon changed my mind. It won’t be for everyone, but there certainly are some benefits to having data access from within the camera.

Below you can see a quick unboxing and we will follow up with a review in the next few weeks. I wonder if I will continue to love the Galaxy Camera or not. Or is it worthy of its price tag which is £420 including VAT?

This isn’t the normal type of product that turns up with us for review but when it was offered I jumped at the chance as it looked so awesome.

The Peli U100 Urban Elite Laptop Backpack is not a cheap option but if you are in the market for a premium product then this thing will knock your socks off. As well as having numerous pockets and compartments, which are all waterproof and dustproof there is also a built in rigid case in the center of the backpack for your laptop which is not only watertight but also crushproof! The case compartment will store up to a 15 inch laptop or a 17 inch MacBook.

The Peli U100 wont be for everyone but if you commute regularly or travel overseas on business this could be a great option for you.
