Review Proporta Laptop bag

image Those of you in the UK are undoubtedly already familiar with Proporta. Unfortunately, we don’t get the opportunity to get our hands on Proporta’s accessories often enough in the US. Proporta is innovative, and has a range of accessories that is unparalleled. One of my personal favorites is Proporta’s emergency charger, so it was with great pleasure that I got to try out their new laptop bag.

Made of Cordura, this bag will protect your possessions from bumps, bangs, and the elements. It is slightly padded for protection, but extremely lightweight. No matter how much you stuff into this bag, carrying it is no chore. There are actually three carry options. There is a built-in handle so that you can carry it in your hand like a traditional briefcase, and there is an adjustable padded removable shoulder strap. The third option is rather innovative. A zippered pocket at one end holds two padded straps that can be attached to hooks at the other end, turning the bag into a rather comfortable backpack!

Proporta’s protective laptop bag is large enough to hold a full size 15.4 inch laptop. There are lots of pockets and pouches to store all your accessories from your power cord to cell phone, battery, pens, and keys. Four wide elastic bands are sewn into the bag and will securely hold your belongings. There are also several velcro’d pouches, and a mesh pocket with a zipper.

A metal grommet between the two sides of the case allows a wire to be passed through. This is particularly useful if you’re using Proporta’s battery charger. There is also a rubber gasket at the bottom of the bag for use with a headset when you’re using the bag as a backpack.

If you’re looking for a new bag for your laptop or netbook, this is a great option at a reasonable price of only US $47.95. If you aren’t already familiar with Proporta’s line, now is a great time to get to know them.

You can see all the products Proporta cover at their website here.
