Project Pink to be announced today

It’s been a long long time in the pipeline but today will see Microsoft launch ‘Project Pink’ which is essentially a range of social networking phones.

We know what two of the phones will look like, thanks to Gizmodo. On the right is the ‘Turtle’ and on the left is the ‘Pure’.

The rest is all speculation so rather than we telling you the rumours lets just wait until later today when we can bring you the official news.

I haven’t paid too much attention to Project Pink. With Windows Phone 7 on the horizon I just feel that Microsoft should be spending their time on that rather than low end devices. I could be wrong and today’s announcement could be great news.

We will have to wait and see.
