Tonight Dave, Chris and Mike talk about the new Samsung Instinct and why HTC is holding back a ROM for the Diamond?
I know that I’ve spoken about the HTC Touch Diamond a lot recently but it’s a device that everyone seems to be talking about. The most common question we’ve been getting lately is ‘When will I be able to buy a UK spec. Device?’
Fear not, for now we have the difinitive answer. Our friends at Devicewire and Clove technology have just taken delivery of their first shipments of official UK specification HTC Touch Diamond devices. Both companies have started sending them out already so if you order today you should expect to have your new toy in your hands within about 2 days.

Smartphone makers and analysts have downplayed fears that Apple‘s iPhone 3G could pose a serious challenge for older smartphone manufacturers.
Analysts from Primasia Securities said in a report on major Taiwanese smartphone maker High Tech Computer (HTC) that concern about the iPhone 3G is " overblown".

In a remarkable reading of Ofcom’s new rules on 0870 numbers, T-Mobile has decided to double the price of such calls for most of its customers, rather than cutting them as Ofcom intended.
Ofcom decided that 0870, 0871, 0844 and 0845 numbers should be considered "normal" calls, and charged at the "normal" rate, but the regulator can’t mandate that such calls are included in the normally-bundled minutes, a loophole T-Mobile has decided to exploit.
A commercial network launched in Amsterdam on Tuesday is the first in Europe to use a mobile version of the Wimax standard to allow users to surf the Web at high speeds while on the move, operator Worldmax said.
The broadband wireless network is aimed at competing with telecoms operators KPN, Vodafone and T-Mobile, the privately held Dutch firm said.
An iPhone version of Adobe’s ubiquitous Flash plug-in is still early into development, the company has admitted. In an earnings call for Adobe’s second financial quarter, CEO Shantanu Narayen has responded to questions on if and when Flash will be ready for the iPhone 3G, which itself is only expected to ship on July 11th. Apple has long blocked the normal desktop version of Flash from the iPhone, insisting that it consumes too much battery power.
Consumer interest in the 3G iPhone is almost four times more than interest in its 2G predecessor, according to O2, Apple’s exclusive UK network partner for the device.
More than 130,000 people have pre-registered their interest in the combined handset, digital music player and web browser on O2’s website since the phone was unveiled a week ago.
