motorola-razr-i-white

If you have been looking forward to picking up the Motorola RAZR i SIM free in white then you now don’t have long to wait. Expansys are expecting stock in on February 4th and the device will cost a reasonable £329.99.

  • Stunning edge-to-edge display -4.3" HD screen
  • High precision design and premium materials – Corning Gorilla Glass, splash proof screen
  • Speedy performance – Intel Inside chip (2GHz) power’s Android Ice Cream Sandwich
  • Google in your hand – Google Play, Maps & Navigation, Google+, YouTube, Voice Actions
  • Long battery life – efficient power management, 2,000 mAh battery (iPhone 5 has a 1,440mAh battery)

4.3 inches of gorgeous edge-to-edge, AMOLED HD screen means you can be absorbed into your media like never before on the Motorola Razr I. Constructed from high quality materials, it’s as amazing to hold as it is to look at. It has an air-craft grade aluminium frame, tough Corning Gorilla Glass to protect the display from knocks and a splash-proof layering. It’s very light (126g) and the 8.9mm thickness justifies the Razr name.

Intel power growls underneath the striking exterior. Despite it being a single core processor Intel has managed to defy possibilities by squeezing dual core power from its 2GHz chip. This breezes through the Android Ice Cream Sandwich operating system – Jelly Bean available in due course. In terms of connectivity and memory, the Razr I has 8GB of memory built in, this can be expanded though thanks to the 32GB memory card slot. NFC is built in too.

Grab a 4G EE data SIM from Expansys and get the first month free of charge

expansys-ee-micro-sim-card

Sounds rather generous doesn’t it? There isn’t a catch either. Just order either a nano or micro SIM card from Expansys before the 28th of February, use the code ‘FREE4G’ and test out EE’s 4G speeds free for a month.

If you feel like staying with the UK’s first LTE network you can do so for £15.99 which will get you 5GB worth of data on a 30 day rolling contract. Whilst the deal may be slightly more expensive than some 3G alternatives you must remember that the data speeds can get a lot faster than 3G. I suppose it all depends what you use your smartphone for most.

Features You’ll Love
  • 5GB of data for just £15.99 a month
  • Compatible with 3G and 4G enabled devices
  • 30 day rolling contract
  • free access to any of the 4.5 Million BT Wi-Fi hot spots across the UK

Order a nano or Micro 4G SIIM card here.

Qualcomm_snapdragon-revamp_logoQualcomm officially unveiled their new Snapdragon lineup. They are moving away from the "S" series naming convention. Their new chips will be called the Snapdragon 200, 400, 600 & 800. The 200 series will be their budget-friendly chips, and the 400 will be for the moderate crowd. The 600 and 800 are left for the high-end flagship devices. Of course, we are most excited by the upper echelon chips, so here’s a breakdown of specs for Qualcomm’s newest beastly tech:

Acer Iconia B1 Launched at CES

Acer_Iconia_B1_FCC_link-580-75 We teased the Iconia B1 last week, and had a strong suspicion it would be launched at CES this week. It turns out we were right, and some folks from Phandroid were able to video the tablet in action at the tech show. The tablet will only debut in Europe and Latin America, which is sad news for folks in the US. It will retail for $119 Euros (about $160 US Dollars). Here’s a spec breakdown:

  • 7-inch screen
  • 512MB internal memory
  • MicroSD for expandable memory
  • 1.2GHz processor
  • Android Jellybean
  • .3MP camera
  • 3.5mm headset jack

This seems like a pretty competitive price point, and could do really well in the markets it is destined for. Check out the hands on over at Phandroid.
