Slashgear looks at the HTC Pro in detail. It looks chunkier than the Kaiser/Tytn II however the dimensions seem to be roughly the same. There is even a video so click on after the break to see the Diamond’s tubbier, younger brother.
Samsung i740 is a quad-band GSM/GPRS phone with no 3G support or even EDGE. Samsung i740 has a standard 2.8" TFT display with QVGA resolution. As a phone running on Windows Mobile 6.1 Pro OS, it is important to know that i740 can rely on a powerful 624 MHz processor. Fortunately, there’s at least a built-in GPS receiver.

With the launch of the 3G iPhone and the firmware 2.0 update, one of the major new features will be the ability to get push email, push contacts and agenda over the air. As a Windows Mobile and iPhone user for me this is great news as I have been using Exchange 2007 with Windows Mobile for a long time now and it is a brilliant way to manage your PIM data.
The guys over at GSM Arena have managed to get hold of a pre-release Samsung Omnia. They have done a detailed head to head against the HTC Diamond with loads of great pictures and a fantastic write up. The Samsung i900 Omnia is still a beta version, while the HTC Touch Diamond is a retail unit. However, dozens of bugs are being reported for the Diamond recently, so it isn’t actually as stable as it should be. In fact, HTC are struggling to polish the Diamond performance, which – even though utterly impressive – is rather unfinished at its launch. Looks like HTC made haste to beat the iPhone 3G announcement.
