iPhone 3.0 software is coming, event on March 17th

Engadget are reporting that they have been invited to an iPhone event on the 17th March 10am PST where the next generation of iPhone firmware 3.0 will be unveiled along with a new SDK for developers. Apple’s calling this an "advance preview of what we’re building," That’s all we know for now, so it’s time for mass hysteria and speculation to commence.
