HTC Cavalier to replace Excalibur

According to Smartphone Thoughts, HTC is already working on a new (or Updated) version of the popular HTC Excalibur, and it’s set for an early release in 2007 as early as January apparantly.

The main difference between the Excalibur and the Cavalier is that the HTC Cavalier will have 3G and HSDPA as well as a beefed up CPU.

HTC Cavalier Specification

  • 400MHz Samsung CPU
  • Quad-Band (GSM/GPRS/EDGE) with UMTS (2100/850/1900), HSDPA
  • WiFi 802.11b/g
  • 128MB ROM, 64MB RAM
  • Bluetooth 2.0
  • 2.4 inch 320×240 screen
  • 2 mega-pixel camera
  • 1050mAh battery
  • The device is saaid to be just a little bigger than the HTC Excalibur. No photos just yet but expect some soon!
