HTC Touch HD video from Gitex

image We told you last week that the Touch HD would be officially announced last week at Gitex well thanks to Big MO ’s ever watchful eye, he has spotted a video from the HTC stand, again no English commentary but we have the full translation, its another video that shows the beautiful screen and resolution with great effect zooming pictures. [Narrator]: This is the Touch HD which was showcased at GITEX 2008 in Dubai. As you can see, it has a 3.8 inch screen with WVGA resolution. It also comes equipped with TouchFlo 3D and a unique Stock Application which can actually be used for buying and selling stocks!

The most important on this device is the 5.0 MPixel camera. It supports 3.5G and has a front-facing VGA camera at the top right-hand corner of the device. The buttons here at the bottom are touch sensitive with a vibrating/haptic feedback.

It runs WinMo 6.1 and has 512 MB ROM, and 288 MB of RAM. It includes a G-sensor which allows automatic switching from portrait and landscape mode when tilted sideways like this. You can also zoom in and out. All you have to do to zoom in is draw a clockwise loop on the screen, and to zoom out you draw a counter-clockwise loop.

[Answer] It’s 528 MHz by Qualcomm.

[ Q ] How’s battery performance?
[ A ] Battery life really depends on the use of the device

[ Q ] What’s the capacity of the battery?
[ A ] It’s 1340 MAh if I remember correctly, actually it’s 1350 MAh.

[ Q ] What company is going to be the partner through which the stock exchange feature will be available?
[ A ] We still have not decided that yet, it’s still in discussion.

[ Q ] What about the release date?
[ A ] November.

[ Q ] Price?
[ A ] 3,499 UAE Dirhams, which is equivalent to about $952.
