HTC Flyer coming soon to Three
Today, at Mobile World Congress, Three has confirmed that it will range the HTC Flyer. HTC’s first tablet has a 7″, 1024 x 600 capacitive touchscreen, making e-reading, watching movies and browsing the web a pleasure, and its pocketable size makes it convenient to check maps, buy apps or download music while out and about. The HTC Flyer boasts a tablet version of the company’s smartphone Sense User Interface and runs on Android’s Gingerbread at launch, and will be upgradable to the next Google software platform. It includes a 5MP camera and a front facing camera to allow for video calling.
The HTC Flyer is integrated with the Evernote application, and comes with a magic pen allowing people to take notes on the fly, which are then accessible from other devices. It also makes book reading more fun with clever highlighting and annotation features.
David Kerrigan, Head of Mobile Broadband at Three says, “The HTC Flyer is a great addition to Three’s growing range of tablets – its small size combined with our award winning network means constant connectivity allowing our customers to experience a reliable and speedy mobile internet at any time. Our HTC smartphones have been extremely popular with our customers, which is why we are very excited to range the company’s first tablet”.
