HP’s ‘Think Beyond’ event

HP’s Think Beyond event in San Francisco has just taken place and what a fine array of WebOS products we have had announced.

No waffling from me. Straight to the action:

First up we have the Veer which looks like a baby Pre, about the size of a credit card.

What we know so far:

• 8GB
• memory same as Pre 2
• 360 x 400 screen
• Snapdragon 800mhz processor

The Veer will be available in early spring.

Next up we have the Pre 3. What we know so far:

• 3.6 WVGA display
• HD video with stabilizaiton
• 5MP Camera
• Forward camera for video calling
• 8 and 16gb options
• qualcomm 1.4GHZ processor

The Pre 3 will be available this summer .

The HP TouchPad. What we know so far:

• Just over 13mm thick
• 9.7 high res display
• Video Calling
• 16/32 GB storage
• twice the ram of the pre2, that’s 1Gig of RAM
• Dual Core Snapdragon
• qualcomm chipset
• virtual keyboard with number row
• access and edit office docs with quickoffice
• working with skype to enable video calling
• wireless keyboard available
• Touchstone charging dock available
