Eken M001 Android tablet unboxing video
A few weeks ago I mentioned that we’d spotted the Eken M001 Android tablet on eBay. At the time I’d never heard of Eken and the images shown of the device looked kin of fake, I was suspicious.
However, as we’ve now discovered it is indeed a real device and you can pick these up online for anything from £100 upwards.
Running Android 1.6 with a 7″ Touchscreen, 128MB ram and SD card support it seems like a decent toy for the £100 mark, about a quarter of the price of the iPad for example.
Should Apple be scared? Er, definitely not but there are several manufacturers out there now offering alternatives so we decided to check this one out.
Below you’ll see my quick unboxing video which I hope will give you a flavour of what the product has to offer. There will be a review online soon too.
