EE, the UK’s most advanced digital communications company, today announced the expansion of its 4G product range with two Android tablets offering customers new ways to enjoy superfast 4G on the move. This weekend, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE and a Google Nexus 7 bundle (paired with Huawei’s E589 Mobile Wi-Fi) will be available to consumers and business customers through select EE retail stores, online and via EE telesales.
Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE
The Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE merges the latest hardware technology with a range of truly innovative features that make it ideal for web, email, multiplayer games and live TV. The innovative S-Pen and optimised apps allow users to express their creative side like never before. Multi -tasking is made easy with the split screen feature on the large 10.1″ display and the quad core processor provides fast, seamless performance so users can enjoy the benefits of superfast 4GEE.
A range of superfast 4GEE plans make it easy for Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE users to pair their tablet with a data package that suits them:
Nexus 7 Bundle
The Nexus 7 by ASUS is ideal for anyone looking for a powerful and portable tablet that fits neatly in your hand. Its slim, portable design packs an immense specification, pairing a powerful quad-core processor with a stunning seven-inch display. Available from EE with Huawei’s E589 Mobile WiFi device, when paired, consumers and business customers can access high speed internet on the move [i] with their own personal 4GEE hotspot in tow – allowing them to work, play and download apps at blistering speeds.

4GEE – superfast performance and more
EE’s superfast 4G network offers a revolutionary mobile internet experience, delivering speeds typically five times faster than 3G[ii]. The power of 4G enables tablet users to push the limits of their devices even further, allowing them to download, stream and browse the content they want to even quick than before. In addition to superfast speeds, EE tablet customers will also benefit from:
– EE Film – the UK film service that combines 2 for 1 cinema ticketing, listings, trailers, film downloads and streaming in one place
– A discount on EE superfast fibre broadband – so they can get blistering speeds at home and on the move
EE’s 4G service will be available in 18 towns and cities by the end of 2012, bringing superfast speeds to even more consumers and businesses across the UK. EE will also launch 4G in a further 17 UK towns and cities by March 2013.
Paul Jevons, Director of Products and Devices, EE, said: “We’re pleased to be announcing our first Android tablets on the EE brand just in time for Christmas. With these new devices, we’re extending the possibilities of what 4G has to offer to an even wider range of users, so they can work or play with greater freedom than ever before.”
