As Skyfire is now in public beta we decided to shoot up a short video showing the browser in action. You can see how web pages look and we also take a look at YouTube videos and JibJab in a browser windows. Check out the video after the break of this highly impressive browser.
If you have been frustrated by the closed private beta of the Skyfire web browser the good news is it is now open to everyone, well officially they say US, Canada, and UK, although you might be able to use Skyfire outside the US, Canada and UK, their focus is providing the best user experience for their active countries. Using Skyfire outside these countries is at your own discretion. Currently Skyfire runs on two phone platforms. Windows Mobile and Symbian S60 (3rd edition). Skyfire is a great browser that supports flash so viewing Youtube videos and other flash sites in your browser is now a reality. You can get it here and we will be doing a review video in the next few days.
Since the launch of the Blackberry Storm there has been a lot stories floating around about a laggy OS amongst other things. Mobility Today think very highly of the device and have produced a video showing the OS in action where you can make your own mind up if it is laggy or not, personally after watching it, it doesn’t seem too bad. See for yourself after the break.

have reported “Steve Ballmer, at the recently held developers conference at Sydney, Australia, said that Microsoft is working on a App-store like software distribution. Apple’s iPhone and App-store have really stirred the Windows Mobile Market. Though there are many ‘app-store like’ distributions, for example – Handango, they are not something that is offered directly from Microsoft. But at the same time Ballmer also mentioned there are no plans to mimic iPhone’s App-store.”
It appears that T-Mobile have been having some major network issues in London today. One of our forum members Dave Hush told us he had not had a signal on T-mobile since about 9am this morning, he had spoken to T-mobile customer services and apparently the network was down this morning for a few hours. First time we have heard of such a major outage, anybody else been affected by this.
