Here is the first part of Pocketnow’s video review of the HP iPaq 910. A strong device by today’s standard. Very much worth a look and I’m looking forward to further videos in this series. Check after the break for the video.
My good friend David Ciccone managed to get his hands on the Treo Pro which we discussed on the first episode of the Mobile Tech Addicts Podcast and he has posted an unboxing video showing the new Palm Treo Pro along with a good look at the outside features of this great looking handset. We are talking to Palm and are very hopeful of getting hold of one of these for ourselves to review, it looks like this will be released in the UK at the beginning of September and if it is as innovative and stable as the Treo 750V then Palm may be on to a winner. Video after the break.

Keeping an eye on Vodafones coming soon section is turning into a full time job, the latest addition is the much anticipated Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 or just the X1 as Vodafone seem to be calling it. It was only the other day that we spotted the Touch Pro’s appearance and now the X1. It is great to see Windows Mobile devices being pushed by the UK Networks. Screen shot after the break.
I’ve put together a quick video looking at some of the similar functions of these three generations of HTC phones. The HTC Tytn (Hermes, Vario II), Tytn II (Kaiser, Vario III) and Touch Pro. I wanted to show any speed differences or functionality of using them.
Palmsolo on Youtube has a nice unboxing of the Treo Pro. The adapter is cute but as you can see the reviewer has a little trouble disconnecting the interchangeable plug. Unfortunately the phone doesn’t feature too much. See the video after the break.
Want to Jailbreak your iPhone or iPhone 3G even though you have upgraded to the latest 2.02 software. Well now you can and it is really easy to do. Steve Trotto has posted a fantastic video showing the full process using the latest version of QuickPwn for Windows. You can watch the video and see how easy this is after the break.
An Alabama woman has filed a class-action lawsuit against Apple over reception and speed problems with its iPhone 3G. Birmingham resident Jessica Alena Smith purchased an iPhone 3G in July after numerous advertisements touted the device’s increased speeds. "One could barely turn on the television without hearing that the new iPhone 3G was ‘twice as fast for half the price,’" according to the suit.
Pocket PC Thoughts have got their hands on the latest Glofiish device the v900. In case you forgot this is a Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional device with Samsung’s new-ish S3C6400 CPU at 533MHz, 128MB RAM, 256MB ROM, a microSDHC slot, an accelerometer, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, an FM tuner, an FM transmitter, TV-out, a 3.0-megapixel auto-focus camera with flash, and a gorgeous VGA touch screen that isn’t recessed. Oh yeah, there’s also quad-band GSM/EDGE and tri-band UMTS/HSDPA connectivity, along with DVB-T/H and T-DMB/DAB support for all that OTA TV goodness. A couple of pictures after the break.
