Just had a tip off from Superetrader of a video that has just hit Youtube of the HTC Touch HD. The video is all in French unfortunately. The Touch HD is impressive, its screen quality is amazing. Enjoy the 12 minutes of video after the break. The software on the device is not finished yet.
French site Geek Inc have managed to get a hold of the HTC Touch HD and have posted some great pictures and comparisons with the iPhone 3G. These are the first real life images we have seen of the device and it is looking rather nice. We have some of the pictures after the break and if you speak French check out their site for their mini review.
Hey, ever wish you could play games with/against persons using different networks and platforms? Well, you’re in luck! At CTIA WIRELESS I.T. & Entertainment 2008, Mytopia Inc., the leading innovator of real-time cross-platform gaming, announced the expansion of its online social gaming community from leading social networks such as Facebook, MySpace, Bebo, hi5 and Friendster to MOBILE DEVICES, including iPhone, BlackBerry, Symbian, PalmOS and Windows Mobile!
The excellent software Documents To Go is definitely coming to the iPhone. This is good news as the lack of quality applications available so far has been disappointing. If you don’t know this software lets you view, edit and create Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint files, view Adobe® PDF files as well as zip/unzip files on your device. Well this is how it works on a Windows Mobile device, all we know so far is that it is coming and will support these file types but it may just be a viewer, time will tell.

Just had a chat with Mike from Superetrader and he tells me they will have the HTC Touch HD in stock from the 8th November. He has also promised to get us a review device as soon as possible as this is one device that we really need to take a look at. You can register online for availability updates or pre-order the device to be the first to get one when they come in. Mike has promised to keep us up to date on availability information for the Touch HD and the other newly announced devices.
Paul over at Modaco managed to get some hands on time with the Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 yesterday and has kindly shared a video showing us around the device from the outside and the software side. It really looks like a nice piece of hardware but I do have concerns over the speed especially switching from portrait to landscape which we have seen all too often on these type of phones. Paul does mention that this is a pre-production rom so maybe it will improve before the launch on September 30th. Video after the break
HTC today announced the launch of a "Snow White" Touch Diamond which will be available later this autumn. Born from the same unique heritage of innovation and a deep desire to blend design with simplicity, the white HTC Touch Diamond is delivering unmistakable style and meticulous craftsmanship. The snow white HTC Touch Diamond will sports the same blending contrasting design elements of metal and unique geometric facets the black Touch Diamond featured already.

In case you missed the Sony Ericsson webcast event yesterday showing off the Xperia X1, the guys over at inxperia managed to grab the video and we have it after the break for you to watch. The good news is they missed the first part which to be honest was all the marketing stuff you don’t want to see anyway and it is straight into the hands on section so it is worth a watch if this one is of interest to you.
