At the Flash On The Beach (FOTB) conference in Brighton, Sr. Director of Engineering at Adobe Systems Paul Betlem, confirmed that Adobe is indeed developing a Flash Player for the iPhone. However, Apple calls the shots as to when it’ll be available. In other words Apple could just say no, but at least we have some hope now.

IBM has released a way to get Lotus Notes e-mail on your iPhone that stops short of full support, but gets the job done. IBM’s iNotes Ultralite will be formally released Tuesday for Notes administrators and iPhone users. The software is a Web application that allows you to access Notes mail through the Safari mobile browser on the iPhone. Administrators need to install IBM Lotus Domino Web Access 8.0.2 in order to make the whole thing work.
Today is the official launch date for the Xperia X1 and I just wanted to confirm to everyone that it has launched as planned. Units have left the factory and are on their way to the shops in the UK and Nordic markets where they should be available in the next week or so.

Pocketnow have posted a YouTube video showing the latest build of Opera Mobile 9.5 and it does indeed support Flash. The video shows the YouTube site and when clicking a video it plays in the browser window and looks great. It has few other new features like a zoom bar. HTC seem to be giving the French sites a head start on the new range of Touch devices, first the Touch HD got its first hands on video and now the Touch 3G also. We have the video after the break, there is also a review of the device in French if you fancy taking a look.
Our friends over at windowsmobileitaly have been tipped off that the Touch HD will launch in Italy in December 2008 as an exclusive for Italian mobile operator TIM. The Price (still TBC officially) is likely to be 849 euros, which is the same as the Touch Pro. We have been told that it should hit the UK in November but we shall see and hopefully we will get some official confirmation soon.
Engadget have taken the time to record their unboxing experience with a series of interesting pictures. The device is complex for a media player and therefore it is hard to capture a lot of the features.
