As we reported last month, Vodafone now have the Dell Inspiron Mini’s available for free when you sign up for a 24 month mobile broadband contract. The difference with this offer compared with the other free netbooks is that the actual mobile broadband does not come as a USB dongle but it is actually built into the netbook. The benefits are no dongles hanging out your netbook and better battery life as your not powering a USB accessory. Full details and plan pricing after the break.
Crackberry have unleashed a few picture of what is reputedly the Blackberry application centre. Downloading applications straight to your phone seems to be all the rage with recent Skymarket rumours and Google’s online store for Android. Have a look at the pics after the break.
Here is a little phone from Asus to be released by O2 under the Xda umbrella. It’s another Windows Mobile 6.1 device however this one will have a rather attractive undercarriage. Its something of a HTC Diamond eclipsed by the HTC Touch HD in a rather boring form factor. Look for it in November.
According to our friends at Windows Mobile Italy the HTC Diamond will soon be available in a few more colours which should be a nice alternative to the already available Black and White. The colours available will be fuschia, brown, blue, purple, red and yellow. So if you like your phone to be as colourful as your personality your all sorted. Pictures after the break.
This rumour has been circulating for a while now but the noise is getting louder now. Macworld think Apple may be closing in on a deal with Carphone Warehouse under which the latter firm will begin selling Macs in-store across the UK. AppleInsider is also claiming that Mac-related ‘placeholder’ items have appeared within the Carphone Warehouse internal computer system, prompting speculation on an such a deal. For me this would make perfect sense, Apple do not have enough stores in the UK so this would be a great way for them to hit the high street and this would also enable Carphone Warehouse to offer big discounts on MacBooks if bought with a Mobile Broadband contract.

Want to have a closer look at the Android OS in action, T-Mobile have just posted a web page with an emulated G1 to have a click around. If your a fan of Windows Mobile I am sure Coolsmartphone.com is on your regular read list, it certainly is on mine, anyway they have had horrendous problems with an attack which has ended up were Google have pretty much knocked them off the internet. Any search you do in Google that returns a Coolsmartphone page will have a horrible message under it saying, "This site may harm your computer". Leigh has worked tirelessly to remove the problem and now reports all is well. You can read the full explanation after the break.
