Noah from Phonedog has shared a couple of hands on videos of the new HTC devices that were announced earlier today at MWC 09. His impressions so far are the HTC Touch Diamond2 gets some upgrades over the original, 5MP camera, bigger display, and a revamped TouchFlo 3D interface that digs deeper into Windows Mobile. HTC’s Touch Pro2 is bigger, brighter, and badder than the original. And the QWERTY is to die for. Check out the videos after the break.
HTC have wasted no time at all getting some launch and product tour videos out for us to enjoy, the first two are for the Diamond2 and the second two are for the TouchPro2. These both look like nice devices and even better news is that HTC have guaranteed that they will both get a free update to Windows Mobile 6.5 as soon as it’s available. Check out the videos after the break.
Just received some information from Orange UK that they will be the first operator in Europe to offer the world’s first Touch Watch phone (LG910). The wrist watch style phone comes with a blue-tooth headset and features a full touch-screen interface, 3G HSDPA and video-calling capabilities…it even tells the time too! Olaf Swantee, Exec VP of Orange Group, has just announced the partnership with LG just now in his keynote at MWC.
Also Orange will soon be offering a range of notebooks and HP Minis with mobile and/or fixed broadband access. To give you an example of what will be available, one of the offers is the brand new Compaq Mini 700 which, in the UK, allows people to buy a ready to use internet connected notebook for £30 a month. Along with the computer customers get Orange’s ‘Internet Everywhere’ mobile broadband service and dongle, as well as a 3GB data allowance and 24 month manufacturer warranty.
