The Acer A1 Liquid appeared yesterday for me to play with over the next week thanks to those lovely folks at Clove. To make the most of it I have filmed a short unboxing. From the video you’ll be certainly experience some of the speed of the device. I’m most impressed so far!

Hi folks, Gareth here. I’m sorry to announce that there will be no Mobile Tech Addicts podcast this week due to my schedule exploding with tasks of great responsibility. Worry not, Andy and I will return before Christmas with something before we take a short break.
What is the difference between daily tabloid newspapers in Germany and UK? Well, the main difference lies in the fact that German tabloids publish naked ladies on the front page and British ones on 3rd page. There is one more difference though: German tabloids are available on Apple tablet too:

Previously we have published review of Boingo WiFi app for iPhone but now we have gathered more information and we can reveal something that only few know…
If you have ever used any voice to text applications on your PC then I am sure you have heard of Dragon. Well today the Dragon Application has hit the App Store (US only at the moment) and it is totally free.
This little program allows you to talk to your iPhone and have it transcribed to text, you can then paste it into Email, SMS or any other iPhone App and I have tested it and it works pretty well.
Gear Diary have done a video of the application in action and here is the iTunes link for the App.
HTC always have a few interesting devices up their sleeves and here we can visualise what we can expect. Putting names to faces is always great, especially when we have reports of names ripped out of Android roms.
