Are you with O2 and like pizza? Get free Wi-Fi while you dine
O2 have signed a deal with Pizza Hut here in the UK bringing free Wi-Fi to customers. The roll out has already begun with 100 restaurants now supporting the free deal and the rest are expected to be complete in early 2013.
O2’s Wi-Fi hotspots are already in over 6,000 locations nationwide. These include McDonald’s, Costa, TONI&GUY, Debenhams, Fuller’s pubs, House of Fraser, All Bar One and Harvester. Users can also download O2 Wi-Fi’s free iPhone and Android app to sign in.
O2 W-Fi managing director Gavin Franks said: “We are extremely proud to add Pizza Hut to the O2 Wi-Fi network. Pizza Hut was one of the first hotspots to be switched on outside our O2 Retail estate and we are particularly pleased to have won this business. This is another leading, respected high street brand that joins our growing portfolio. Pizza Hut is an acknowledged family environment and so particularly valued our content protection, which has been employed since we launched.”
Pizza Hut UK head of marketing Clark Wilson said; “The benefits of the service are extensive – it’s quick and easy to use, and most importantly families can be confident that O2 Wi-Fi really is for all, as the service prevents access to sites with adult content. We want our guests to have fantastic, memorable experiences in our restaurants, and introducing a high quality, free Wi-Fi service not only widens what we currently offer, but creates the bases for further interactive experiences in the future.”
Sounds a pretty good deal if you ask me.
