Screen Shot 2011-09-05 at 17.14.48

With the recent situation regarding Apple managing to get an injunction on Samsung selling the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 in Europe things seemed to have moved on slightly. Vodafone are selling the Tab if you fancy picking one up!

Exactly how and why Vodafone can do this I do not know but it is good news for you Android fans.

Vodafone currently have 34 different contract options with the price of the Galaxy Tab 10.1 ranging from £229 – £499 dependant on the monthly contract costs.

Click here to place your order.

The Samsung GALAXY Tab 10.1 is powered by Android Honeycomb 3.1 – made specially for tablets. That means you can customise it so stuff like emails, image galleries, favourite websites and social network feeds appear right there on your homescreen. It also helps you to multi-task by letting you see useful things like your calendar, world clock, calculator and task manager as pop-ups. And it enables you to view Flash – so you can see websites as they’re meant to be seen.

HTC EVO 3D Review

evo-main_2The HTC EVO 3D is the slightly bigger, slightly uglier and slightly faster brother of the HTC Sensation but as the name would suggest, the EVO 3D has one trick up it’s sleeve: the ability to view and create 3D content. This handset is the second 3D capable phone to arrive in the United Kingdom and the first of the EVO line to come over from America under the same moniker.

It has all of the latest specs: dual-core 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, two 5 MP cameras, 540 x 960 qHD screen and Sense UI 3.0 but does it work like a charm? Should you choose this over the HTC Sensation? Should you delve into the three-dimensions with the EVO 3D or should you go with the Optimus 3D?

Well, you should read on to find out!

Dolly Drive review

dolly-drive I can guess, before I even ask the question what the answer will be and it send shivers down my spine.

Do you back up your Mac?

Many years ago, I managed to lose all the data I held on my computer. Never again. Ever since this happened I have always carried out regular backups. Both on external hard drives, partitions and CD/DVD’s. Obsessed? Slightly.

I was over the moon when Apple introduced TimeMachine, a back up solution anyone could use without even knowing it. TimeMachine ran in the background and kept backups of individual files as well as the whole computer. If you lost a file, you could simply restore it. Have a HDD failure, swap it out and restore form TimeMachine. Bliss.

Samsung Galaxy Note filling that all important gap in the market

samsung_galaxy_note4, 5, 7, 9 and 10. Samsung as it all covered! WAIT! We need a 6" Android tablet, quick Samsung, get it out there. They’ve unveiled yet another new Android powered superphone that has the potential to change the future landscape of mobile phones. Most thought Samsung had outdone themselves earlier this year when they announced the Samsung Galaxy S II, but the new Samsung Galaxy Note pushed the boundaries even further. The new flagship phone from Samsung features a 5.3-inch 1280 x 800 Super AMOLED display, a 1.4 GHz Exynos processor, 8 and 2 megapixel rear and front facing cameras, support for HSPA+ and LTE networks and 2500 mAh battery while only measuring 9.65mm in thickness.

Will probably cost a couple of quid more than most other phones on the market running Android 2.3. But some come with a modified version of TouchWiz called S Pen, which is optimized for use with the included stylus. Sounds a little like the HTC Flyer.
