Vodafone UK Unveils Trio of New Smartphones

Galaxy S

Once again Vodafone have announced a fine selection of new devices coming to the network soon.

Top if my list of ones I want to play with is the Samsung Galaxy S.

The Samsung Galaxy S 16GB http://shop.vodafone.co.uk/shop/mobile-phone/samsung-galaxy-s will be available exclusively to Vodafone UK customers. The stunning, ultra responsive touchscreen device is the latest generation of Android smartphones built by Samsung.
With the Samsung Galaxy S, not only will you be able to access thousands of apps through the Android Marketplace, you can make the most of the device’s social networking features, by staying connected with all your friends through Facebook, Twitter and MSN.
The Samsung Galaxy S 16GB sports a great 5 megapixel camera, capable of shooting videos in HD quality, allowing you to capture crystal clear moments and enjoy them on the huge 4″ Super AMOLED touch screen display.
Powered by a superfast 1GHz processor and teamed with an integrated Google Chrome browser, the handset allows for a smooth and seamless experience, which never slows down when you’re surfing the web through multiple browser windows.

Next up we have the Samsung Wave.

Wave

The stunning Samsung Wave http://shop.vodafone.co.uk/shop/mobile-phone/samsung-wave is the very first handset to run on the new bada software platform, and is Samsung’s next generation, ultra responsive touchscreen smartphone.
Through bada, the Samsung Wave offers great customisable features to allow you to adapt the phone to suit your requirements. Using the TouchWiz feature, for example, you can personalise multiple home screens with your favourite shortcuts and menus to get quicker access to the things you need most.  You can also access Samsung Apps, the dedicated bada app store, giving you even more opportunities to customise your handset.
Use the Social Hub to integrate SMS, IM and your favourite social networks into on place, bringing you and your friends even closer. In addition, bada supports a huge variety of features, such as Flash and in-app purchasing, to make the Samsung Wave both versatile and great fun to use.
The Samsung Wave features a stunning 3.3″ Super AMOLED screen, and uses Samsung’s HD TV technology to deliver crisp, rich images in the palm of your hand. And all of this functionality is delivered by a speedy 1GHz processor to give you a seamless experience.

And last but not least we have the Sony Ericsson X10 mini and look, it is only 50 pence. Only joking!

X10 Mini

The Sony Ericsson X10 Mini http://shop.vodafone.co.uk/shop/mobile-phone/sony-ericsson-x10-mini is an ultra-compact touchscreen device, smaller than a credit card, which combines the great features of Android with Sony Ericsson’s own user interface to create a great experience.
The X10 Mini allows you to customise the phone to suit your needs, including the ability to choose the functions that are accessed through the four corners of the 2.55″ screen, making it both quick and easy to use.
Sony Ericsson’s Timescape makes it easy to keep in touch with your friends, by bringing your communications into one place so you can easily view text messages, missed calls, and Facebook and Twitter updates. And the phone’s great for entertainment too, with the interactive music player using an “infinite button” to pull together content from the music store and YouTube – a smart way to search for new tracks from a favourite artist.

As usual we will endeavour to get review units before release so watch this space. We will be busy boys!
