Virgin Media gives its tariffs a makeover

Virgin media has today announced it is re-launching its mobile tariffs in a bid to offer its customers the hottest handsets through a range of contract options but with the added bonus of cost savings on monthly bill.

  • Monthly Mobile bonus deal extended to offer savings for more customers

  • New range of 12 month contracts added for greater flexibility

From August, new and existing customers will be able to take advantage of standard 24 month contracts as well as a new competitive range of 12 month contracts, providing more flexible options for those looking to stay up-to-date with the latest handset technology without being tied to a long contract.

In addition, customers can now choose from a new range of customisable extras to provide a simple way of tailoring tariffs to individual requirements. Those who like to spend time talking to friends and family can double their allowance of inclusive talk minutes for just £2 per month (3) more, whilst those who regularly access the web through their phones can upgrade to a whopping 5GB of mobile web for just £5 extra a month.

Virgin Media home phone customers looking to take a 24 month mobile contract will be able to make considerable savings by bundling these two phone services together. Virgin Media’s ‘Monthly Mobile Bonus’ deal gives customers a saving of up to £192 across their contract term. The deal which launched in April for L and XL home phone customers has now been extended to Virgin Media home phone M customers and offers the choice of any handset from the Virgin Media range on tariffs of £15.99 and above.

As always, customers with Virgin Media’s home phone, broadband or TV services continue to get exclusive additional benefits, including double the text and mobile web allowances compared to non-Virgin Media customers, as well as 3,000 Virgin Mobile to Virgin Mobile minutes and unlimited4 free calls from their home phone to Virgin Mobiles during their included free calls periods every month.
